>Two helicopters of the US-led coalition have evacuated two ISIS commanders from the area of Twaimin in the Syrian province of al-Hasakah, the Syrian state-run news agency SANA reported on June 25.
> “According to civil sources, the US forces carried out an airdrop operation through two helicopters affiliated to the so-called “International Coalition” in the area of Twaimin at the Syrian-Iraqi borders, and transported two of Daesh [ISIS] members to the headquarters of the occupying US forces in the city of al-Shaddadi.
> The sources said that the airdrop and the evacuation were carried out without any clashes and in coordination and cooperation with the US-backed Qasad groups in the region,” the report said.
>The SANA claimed that the goal of the move is “prolonging terrorist war on Syria”.
>Al-Shaddadi is known for hosting an air base of the USi-led coalition. The base is located close to the al-Shaddadi oil fields.
>The Syrian government as well as Russia have repeatedly accused the US-led coalition of providing at least indirect assistance to ISIS terrorists. The SANA has also released a number of reports saying that aircraft of the coalition evacuate ISIS members from the combat zones in Syria to the coalition-occupied areas.
