Jean-Pierre: [The Secret Service] are currently investigating what happened over the weekend [cocaine found in White House]. As you know, [Biden], the first lady and their family were not here this weekend…they left on Friday and returned just yesterday. Where this was discovered is a heavily-traveled area where many West-Wing visitors come through.
Reporter: This [cocaine] episode shines a light on the fact that you can bring in illegal substances into the White House, so what;s preventing a visitor from bringing in anthrax or something that's not magnetic into the White House?
Jean-Pierre: I totally understand the question, but it is under investigation…we just have to let the Secret Service do it's job, which they are….we're not assisting with anything.
Reporter: Why has [Biden] not made the visit out there [East Palestine]? Is he just not going to?
Jean-Pierre: He will travel to the area, to East Palestine. Just don't have anything to share on travel…[Biden] said it, so he's going to go.
Reporter: Where exactly inside the West Wing was the substance discovered?
Jean-Pierre: I'm not going to get into specifics..when people visit the West Wing, there is an area of the West Wing where it is highly traveled. People come through this particular area; it's highly traveled. I'm just not going to get into specifics.
Reporter: There was a story in the New York Times about Hunter Biden's daughter in Arkansas. Does [Biden] acknowledge this little girl as his granddaughter?
Jean-Pierre: I don't have anything to share from here.
Jean-Pierre: [Biden] is proud to have restored the rule of law in his administration.
