I don't recall that he was region-specific. Either way, it would seem that our country's "celebrities"–be they e-celebs, movie retards, shitty musicians, and journalists-in-name-only–are all pushing for an open rebellion. They're priming the public for violence.
I could swear they're preparing the public to be casual in their attitudes towards violence. They're essentially giving the green light for rioting.
