That's why there should be a TEMPORARY war tax

provision in the constitution.

 

Every single time we fight a massive war we pay for it in loans or through a permanent tax.

 

We should back wars with temporary taxes/tariffs, then when we win, the status quo in peacetime is low taxes.

I hate to say it but the parliamentary system is nice.

 

It allows coalitions of parties, that way you can really vote for something closer to what you believe, not 2 choices.
