Anon has noticed lithium battery swelling in old devices. This leads to questions about EMF sources and possible dangers with lithium batteries. As anon understands bringing several batteries together could result in a fire. For some reason the lithium battery fires in places such as NY have recently been deadly. Would new EMF sources such as 5G installations contribute to the likelihood of lithium battery fires especially in older batteries? Why does lithium start to seem to anon sort of like nuclear material? Do lithium batteries allow for intentional remote detonation in some manner? Some of these questions can be researched by anon. However, expertise of knowledgeable anons is still greatly appreciated and the subject would seem very relevant at the moment.

Your point? Those devices are no risk? Anon has an apple device that expanded so much the case separated. Anon disposed of properly. Then old child's Nintendo DS battery so fat you could feel it though the case. In freezer at the moment in a metal case. Will dispose of properly shortly.

Tyvm. Too many spoopy things in my neck of the woods. Local rules changed so that house wired fire alarms are not used anymore. Strangely our house wired alarms started going off inappropriately. Replaced with "made in China". How cool is that? Now city has plausible deniability if fire gets you. The City council seems like figurehead only at this point.

But Bobby Piton got me thinking about remote activation of electronic devices some time ago. Not just "lithium bomb" detonation, but lots of other spoopy crap, too. How about children's toys?
