Elon Musk threatened to sue Meta over its new “Twitter killer,” Threads, a text-based app that resembles Twitter. Twitter accused Meta of hiring dozens of former Twitter employees who still have access to the social media platform’s trade secrets.

Attorney Alex Spiro said Meta assigned former Twitter employees to develop ‘Meta’s copycat ‘Threads’ with the intent to use Twitter’s intellectual property.

US Army Special Forces interpreter who fled Taliban in Afghanistan fatally shot in DC, suspects caught on camera

A former Afghan interpreter who assisted U.S. Special Forces has been fatally shot in Washington, D.C., according to authorities.

Nasrat Ahmad Yar, 31, served as an interpreter for the U.S. Army Special Forces in Afghanistan for a decade. Yar escaped Afghanistan in 2021 with his wife and children after the Taliban took control of the country.

Yar – a father of four who was living in Alexandria, Virginia – was working as a driver for the ride-sharing service Lyft. Yar was working an extra rideshare shift shortly after midnight on Monday when he was slain, according to a verified GoFundMe page.

A single gunshot is heard in the surveillance video.

Four individuals, seemingly teens, are seen on video running down an alley.

One person says, "You just killed him."

Another replies, "He was reaching, bro."

Emergency personnel responded to the crime scene and found Yar on the ground next to his car suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Yar had moved to Virginia from Philadelphia less than a year ago because he felt unsafe in the City of Brotherly Love after being robbed at gunpoint, according to CBS News.

The GoFundMe campaign noted that Yar was the sole provider for his family, including his four children, ages 15 months to 13 years old. At the time of publication, the crowdfunding campaign had raised more than $125,000 for Yar's family.

Close friend Jeramie Malone said, "I can't emphasize enough how he was always helping. Leaving the house was very dangerous for him, but he was always eager to help somebody else who is a good guy. His children were the most important thing to him, and he brought them here so he could be safe."

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Butler told WUSA, "He was most certainly a marked man if he stayed."

"You just don’t have words to describe how you feel about someone who had given so much to his country, not as a citizen, but then comes here and experiences some of the worst behavior our country has to offer," Butler added. "The irony is really thick here."

A Lyft spokesperson told CNN, "Our hearts are with Mr. Nasrat’s loved ones as they confront this unspeakable tragedy. We have reached out to his family to offer our support and are in contact with law enforcement to assist with their investigation.”

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in the heartbreaking case.

Trump Jr. Says Australian Home Affairs Minister Needs to Make Room for Free Speech

Donald Trump Jr. has criticised media outlets and the Australian Labor government for spreading “fake news” about his upcoming speaking tour.

The son of the former U.S. president’s comments come in response to ongoing criticism from federal Labor ministers culminating in a now-deleted Twitter post from the Australian home affairs minister who called Mr. Trump Jr. a “sore loser.”

Organisers of Mr. Trump Jr.’s speaking tour were forced to postpone the event after his visa application was held up for longer than usual.

“The tyrannical Left doesn’t believe people have the right to freedom of expression and will do anything to shut down conservative voices, but we will not bow down to them,” he told the Daily Mail.

“If Minister Clare O’Neil isn’t too much of a coward to leave her left-wing safe space, I’d be happy to invite her to attend any of the events that we put on.

“You never know; maybe she’ll learn a thing or two about the importance of freedom of speech and diversity of thought.”

He also said that despite the “ridiculous lies” from fake news outlets, the tour had been doing very well, with over 8,000 tickets sold so far.

Minister Parrots Media Line

The comments from Mr. Trump Jr. come after Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil parroted the same line as left-wing media in responding to the visa controversy.

In a since-deleted post on Twitter, Ms. O’Neil claimed that the tickets for Mr. Trump Jr. speaking tour were not selling well.

“Geez, Donald Trump Jr. is a bit of a sore loser. His dad lost an election fair and square—but he says it was stolen,” the home affairs minister wrote on Twitter on July 6.

“Now he’s trying to blame the Australian government for his poor ticket sales and cancelled tour.

“Donald Trump Jr. has been given a visa to come to Australia. He didn’t get cancelled,” she added. “He’s just a big baby who isn’t very popular.”

The post was deleted hours later, reported at the direction of the prime minister’s office.

Her actions were quickly criticised by Opposition Sen. James Paterson, who warned it could spark a future diplomatic incident.

“Like it or not, Trump could be elected president again in less than 18 months,” he wrote on Twitter. “If that happens, I hope for the sake of the AUKUS agreement that cabinet ministers in national security portfolios are able to restrain themselves from juvenile tweets like these.”

Mr. Paterson also said Ms. O’Neil, in her capacity as home affairs minister, should focus on serious national security challenges instead.

On July 5, attendees of the event were advised the event had been postponed.

It was later revealed that Mr. Trump Jr. had only received visa approval 24 hours before he was due to board his flight to Sydney, despite submitting an application in May (approvals should require 21 days).

Biden Admin To Form Global Coalition Against Fentanyl. There's Just One Problem

The Biden administration is set to form a global coalition of countries to target fentanyl trafficking, but it doesn’t appear that China, a major source of the synthetic drug, will participate.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to host a meeting Friday with representatives from 84 countries to discuss efforts to disrupt the global supply chains of illicit fentanyl, the State Department said Thursday. However, there’s no indication China intends to participate despite the country being the source of precursor chemicals used by the cartels in Mexico to make the synthetic drug.

“We’ve invited China. We don’t have any indication at the moment that they’re going to participate. But what I would say is this is the beginning of the process, and our hope is that all responsible countries will eventually participate between now and over the next year,” Assistant Secretary for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Todd D. Robinson told reporters on a Thursday call.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) labeled China as “the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked through international mail and express consignment operations environment, as well as the main source for all fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States,” in a 2020 intelligence report.

Ukraine’s Gold and Currency Reserves Now Largest Ever, Says Central Bank

Ukraine’s National bank says it now holds nearly $39 billion in foreign reserves, the highest level in the history of the country as an independent nation, as it continues to receive large deliveries of cash from allied nations.

There was a $38.99 billion reserve held by Ukraine as of July first, the National Bank of Ukraine said in their latest figures, up from $37.3 billion in June. The size of the reserve is the largest since the fall of the Soviet Union, and beats the previous 2011 record of $38 billion.

Per the National Bank, this reserve was achieved “thanks to sustained and regular inflows from international partners”, the receipts of which exceeded the central bank’s outgoings of paying down foreign-held debt, and selling currency reserves to balance the economy. The bank cited some of the June incomings which included $1.6 billion given to Ukraine’s central bank by the European Union, $1.2 billion from the United States, and $886 million from the World Bank.

The reserve is held in foreign currencies and gold, reports the Polish financial newspaper Rzeczpospolita.

Reuters reports Ukraine has received $23.6 billion in cash from Western partners this year so far.

Bank governor Andriy Pyshnyi thanked Western partners for the cash injections in a statement on the figures on Friday morning. He said:

This is a record for the entire independent history of Ukraine. An incredible achievement for a country at war… The involvement of international partners is extremely powerful, and the volume of external financing is historic.

13 Dead Migrants Found in One Week by Border Patrol Agents

Border Patrol agents recovered 13 deceased migrants in one week along what the United Nations has declared the deadliest land border in the world. The recoveries made by the agency were accompanied by 226 rescues of migrants suffering heat-related injuries from June 25 to July 1, according to Jason Owens, the recently named the 26th Chief of the United States Border Patrol.

The heat wave still impacting the border region was into its fourth straight week as June came to a close. In Mexico, temperatures in the border states have also shattered existing records during one of the most severe heatwaves the country has experienced. Thankfully, the heatwave is expected to dissipate and move eastward, offering some relief to those battling the heat along the southwest border.

As the unrelenting heat wave blanketed the southern states, the deceased migrant recoveries made by the Border Patrol during the previous week are only a portion of the actual death toll along the border. Deceased migrant recoveries in Mexico and by state and local law enforcement agencies in the United States away from the border are not reported by the Border Patrol when their agents do not participate in the recovery. This means the migrant death total is higher than that reported by the agency.

The record-breaking heatwave has proven deadly to migrants in Mexico as well. Some 26 miles away from the border city of Eagle Pass, Texas, law enforcement authorities in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico, recovered the body of one suspected migrant on a private ranch on Saturday. Initial reports from authorities indicate the remains may be William Amilcar Ramos, a 31-year-old Guatemalan migrant.

In Piedras Negras, Coahuila, according to one news report, the State Attorney General, Gerardo Marquez Guevara, told reporters 21 deceased migrants have been recovered in the Mexican border city since January. Four of the migrants remain unidentified.

On Monday, nearly 50 miles north of the Texas-Mexico border, Zavala County Sheriff’s Office deputies recovered the body of a 22-year-old Honduran migrant on a private ranch near La Pryor, Texas. This recovery also falls outside the category reported on by Border Patrol records.

Heat-related injuries are only one contributing factor to the number of migrants who lose their lives attempting the border crossing into the United States. As reported by Breitbart, Texas, on Saturday, a Texas Department of Public Safety Tactical Marine Unit reported the recovery of four deceased migrants who had drowned in the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass.

In 2022, more than 800 migrant deaths were recorded by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In 2021, 728 migrants perished attempting the border crossing into the United States, prompting the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration (IOM) to declare the United States-Mexico land border the most dangerous land crossing in the world in July of 2022.

Geoengineering (chemtrails) threatens to unleash “unintended consequences” that could be catastrophic for the planet, EU warns

The European Commission (EC) published a report this week warning that the risks and "unintended consequences" of manipulating the skies with geoengineering and "chemtrails" under the guise of fighting global warming and climate change are too severe to allow.

Climate fanatics are increasingly demanding interventions such as artificial cloud-seeding to block natural sunlight, which they claim will "cool" the earth's surface and prevent the polar ice caps from melting and killing us all. The European Union (EU), however, is saying not so fast.

"In the context of accelerated global warming, deliberate large-scale intervention in the Earth's natural systems (referred to as 'geoengineering'), such as solar radiation modification, is attracting more attention," the report states.

"However, the risks, impacts and unintended consequences that these technologies pose are poorly understood, and necessary rules, procedures and institutions have not been developed."

The specific risks mentioned in the report include power imbalances between nations that could spark major conflicts while raising "a myriad of ethical, legal, governance and political issues."

No, blocking the sun to "cool" the planet isn't a good or sound idea

Scientists from Harvard University, for instance, claim that "spraying tiny particles called sulfate aerosols into the atmosphere to reflect away sunlight" is somehow a good idea.

Others out of MIT said much the same, arguing that "geoengineering might be our final and only option" to save the planet from the mythical idea known as climate change. (Note: the climate has always changed, as this is a natural phenomenon.)

EU climate policy chief Frans Timmermans told reporters this week that such ideas are ludicrous and must never be taken seriously.

"Nobody should be conducting experiments alone with our shared planet," he stated. "This should be discussed in the right forum, at the highest international level."

If left unchecked – or even if checked by all the "experts" – tampering with the planet in such a way could produce irreversibly devastating consequences for everyone, including not just the countries where it is occurring but everywhere since planetary weather systems are all interconnected.

In the comments, someone joked that the way all of this sounds when simplified exposes the climate agenda as a control and extermination agenda.

An Antifa activist committed suicide after Hungarian police raided his house. However, the investigation is not over, as police want to know how he obtained 70,000 graphic pedophilia recordings, with many of them depicting the torture and rape of small children. The case, which is connected to the German Antifa scene, has spooked Hungary, with police discovering signs of a strange ritual close to where the man hung himself.

The massive child porn stash on the Antifa activist’s hard drive came as a shocking twist in a case that spans the left-wing Antifa scenes of Hungary and Germany. So far, the name of the activist has not been released by Hungarian police.

The man was a Hungarian Antifa activist believed to have played a major role in attacking individuals thought to be far-right activists on the streets of Budapest with the help of German activists in February of this year. During the investigation in connection with the street attacks, the police found the child porn on the man’s laptop after his partner’s apartment was raided. Police found no evidence that his partner was involved in any child porn crimes.

Among the thousands of child porn files discovered, there were 300 videos of particularly brutal sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, including many children between two and three years old.

According to newspaper reports, the activist hung himself in the woods near the abandoned Holdfény Missile Base, a former Soviet-era military site, near the city of Biatorbágy after the police moved in to apprehend him.

Close to where the man committed suicide, police discovered a toy doll that had been set on fire in the middle of a fire pit built out of stones. A photo of the doll was obtained by Hungarian newspaper Metropol.

WEF: Digital Cash Can Be Used to Block Citizens from Buying ‘Less Desirable’ Items

An agent of the World Economic Forum (WEF) has gloated that one of the “benefits” of “digital cash” is that governments can control what citizens can and can’t pay for.

During the WEF’s recent Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Communist China, Tolani Senior Professor of Trade Policy at Cornell University Eswar Prasad gave a chilling insight into the rationale behind the globalist elite’s interest in pushing toward a cashless society.

Prasad spoke about the coming Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and how unelected authoritarians will be able to control the public by managing the regulation of society’s spending.

According to Prasad, a top economics expert and former International Monetary Fund (IMF) official, the coming CBDC-only cashless society will be regulated to ensure that people comply with what is considered to be “desirable.”

Prasad spoke at the gathering, also known as “Summer Davos,” bluntly stating the “benefits of digital money” include the “programmability” of citizens.

For example, the government could control what products citizens are allowed to purchase with digital currencies.

He gloated that people will be blocked from buying “less desirable” items such as “ammunition.”

Prasad said, “The government decides that units of central bank money can be used to purchase some things but not other things that it deems less desirable like say, ammunition or drugs or pornography or things of the sort.”

Biden Says Assad Must Go

While on the campaign trail, President Joe Biden spoke with some “Syrian American activists” who favor increased sanctions on the country as well as regime change in Damascus, during a private fundraiser in Maryland last month. According to neoconservative columnist Josh Rogin – one of Bill Kristol’s protégés – Biden told these regime change advocates that, among other things, Assad must go. Rogin says these activists “took advantage of their audience with Biden… to implore him to do more to oppose” Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Alla Tello, a Syrian American from Massachusetts, said she declared to Biden that “Assad must go,” to which the president responded “I agree.” That rallying cry was first uttered in 2011, when the Barack Obama administration began launching its dirty war against Damascus, an ultimately failed but extremely bloody regime change effort.

Al-Qaeda affiliated militants and Islamic State fighters waged a war against the people of Syria and its government that is estimated to have resulted in the deaths of more than 500,000 people. The terrorist forces that carried out the failed regime change attempt were supported often by the CIA and its allies, including the British, the French, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar.

Consequently, Russia maintains a significant military presence in Syria, having intervened at the request of Assad in 2015 to help beat back ISIS and al Qaeda elements wreaking havoc. Iran and Hezbollah also came to the aid of Damascus. Tello demanded that that Washington do more to “help the Syrian people free themselves from the grip” of Assad, Tehran, and Moscow. “[Biden] said, ‘I can’t promise you, but I will do the best I can,’” she told Rogin.

“Encouragingly, these activists told me, Biden not only seemed to care deeply about the plight of Syrians but also seemed to want to do more about it,” Rogin writes. This rings hollow as for years, on a near-weekly basis, Tel Aviv has dropped bombs on Syria. Last year, the Wall Steet Journal reported that a large portion of these air raids are carried out with the US military’s coordination. The Israelis claim their constant airstrikes are meant to counter Iranian forces in the country, though they routinely target and kill Syrian soldiers as well as civilians, along with airports, and other civilian infrastructure. This year, following a devastating earthquake which killed thousands of Syrians, the Aleppo airport – which was a vital channel for aid – was bombed on three separate occasions and rendered inoperable by the Israeli Air Force.

During the last several decades, Biden has been known as apartheid “Israel’s man in Washington.” Since becoming president, he has said emphatically that US ties with Tel Aviv are “bone-deep,” including in the wake of the Israeli military’s murder of an American journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh. In May, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant boasted that since Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to power last December, the airstrikes in Syria have doubled. Reportedly, Israel has bombed Syria at least 19 times this year alone.

“We have to save Idlib,” Muhammad Bakr Ghbeis, Tello’s husband, told Biden. This northwestern province has been controlled by al Qaeda affiliates for years as a result of Washington’s policy. Even the hawkish Brett McGurk, the former anti-ISIS envoy under Obama and Trump, admitted in 2017 that “Idlib Province is the largest Al Qaeda safe haven since 9/11.” McGurk is now Biden’s top Middle East official on the National Security Council.

“Please save Idlib, Mr. President,” Ghbeis pleaded, to which Biden replied “I hear you, but I can’t send U.S. soldiers to Syria.” Washington currently has about 900 troops illegally deployed to eastern Syria, backing the Kurdish-led SDF, and occupying about a third of the country, where US forces control most of Syria’s oil and wheat resources. This is not the first time Biden has forgotten he has US forces engaged in combat in Syria and dropping bombs.

‘We Need to Act Fast’: Disney+ Green Lights New Show About Girl Falling in Love With the Devil

The family-friendly entertainment organization MovieGuide is sounding the alarm about a new campaign against an upcoming Disney+ that features a teenage girl’s love affair with Satan.

The streaming platform has given the green light to start production on a new German original series titled Pauline. According to Deadline, the series follows an 18-year-old girl becomes pregnant after a one-night stand with the devil.

The series’ creators, who are behind Netflix’s “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast),” say the project is “very close” to their hearts.

“For a long time, the series has been and still remains a project very close to our hearts,” Philipp Käßbohrer and Matthias Murmann said. “We’re thrilled that Disney+ loves this coming-of-age story as much as we do and that we’ve now been able to begin filming with such an amazing cast and crew.”

Lately, Disney’s “coming-of-age” films have been out of touch with what parents want their kids to watch. They often push content with themes around witchcraft, sex, and violence.

Last year, the company lost over $100 million each for their animated movies, “Light Year” and “Strange World,” which depicted same-sex relationships on screen.

Movieguide chairman and founder Ted Baehr, is calling on parents to petition Disney+ to stop the release of “Pauline” on the platform.

“We can’t let this twisted and disturbing content corrupt our children’s values and beliefs,” he shared.

“Let me be clear. Pauline is not just another piece of entertainment,” Baehr added. “Horrifically, this series even portrays Satan as a romantic partner! By normalizing and promoting such a relationship, Pauline sends a dangerous message to young viewers that associating with demons, Satan, and evil is acceptable and even desirable!”

Baehr said MovieGuide is partnering with Citizen-go to stop the series from premiering on Disney+.

“If released, there will be millions of young viewers who may perceive this twisted and disturbing story as desirable and exciting,” Baehr warned. “The show’s attempt to normalize and even promote demonic association is a blatant attempt to blur the lines of morality and make evil desirable.”

“We must act now to petition Disney to reconsider their decision to platform this evil show. We need to inform the studios that there are still discerning viewers and parents who won’t allow this content be viewed by our children,” he added.

Teachers' union recommends sexually explicit graphic novel, other controversial books on its summer reading list

The country's largest teachers' union recently released its latest summer reading list, which recommended a sexually explicit graphic novel and several other controversial books to educators.

The National Education Association published a list of 11 suggested reads divided into several sections, including "books that make you forget work," "books to celebrate or understand Juneteenth," and "books that will make you a better educator."

The summer list also included a "banned books" section encouraging bookworms to "celebrate the freedom to read!"

Most notably, the NEA's recommendations included the controversial graphic comic book, "Gender Queer: A Memoir" by Maira Kobabe.

The NEA's website stated, "Twilight used to be at the top of banned-book lists for its racy content. Today, those lists are much more likely to feature LGBTQ+ people or People of Color."

The novel has topped the American Library Association's most challenged book list for the past two years after concerned parents nationwide have urged schools to remove it from classrooms and libraries because it contains sexually explicit images. According to the organization, the book has been "challenged" at least 151 times.

The autobiographical comic follows the story of the book's author, Kobabe, who identifies as "nonbinary" and prefers "e/em/eir" pronouns. Critics of the novel argue that it is inappropriate for school-aged children because it features graphic images and descriptions of oral sex and masturbation.

In an interview with NPR, Kobabe stood by the comic's sexual content, stating, "I honestly think the book is a lot less explicit than it could be."

"The topic of gender touches on identity… and it touches on sexuality," Kobabe added. "And it's hard to fully explain I think what like how a gender identity can impact every facet of life as an adult without touching at least a little bit on sexuality. And I wanted to at least not to like shy away from that."

The NEA's summer reading list also included "White Fragility" by Robin DiAngelo, which it states "explores why White people are so bad at talking about racism."

At the top of the recommended reads, the NEA added an editor's note explaining that the listed titles are "diverse" and meant to help educators "better understand their colleagues, students, and families."

"The books here are not recommended for students," the NEA added.

On Wednesday, Republican Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin slammed the teachers' union for its "unprecedented" recommendations.

"This is the same NEA that counseled Biden to keep schools shut for an extended period of time. And it's the same NEA that said that parents, in fact, were on the verge of being terrorists, showing up at school board meetings," Youngkin told "Fox and Friends."

"This is who is recommending what books to read for our kids. It's unprecedented. That [educators] should read as well. The challenge we've got today is that there have been politicians and bureaucrats and the teachers' associations and unions who believe that they are more important in kids' lives than parents," he added.
