Protip anon deduced recently: killing parasites doesn't do much good when food for parasites is still present. Clean up the heavy metals and et al, before killing off the parasites who are trying to help you! (They "help" by taking the heavy metals into their own bodies, and then when they die, most of that gunk goes out the waste chute with the dead organism.)
There's lots more, of course. :) Like, those heavy metals are food for the nanotech now… So there are many reasons to detox.
