Perhaps it was the mad hatters.

They used a lot of mercury to make their hats.

During the 18th to 20th centuries, hat makers used mercury to stiffen felt for hats. They used a type of mercury called mercuric nitrate and worked in poorly ventilated rooms.

Over time, the hatters inhaled mercury vapors. Many developed symptoms of chronic mercury poisoning, including psychosis, excitability, and tremors. These symptoms became so common in hatters that the phrase โ€œmad as a hatterโ€ was born.

In the United States, mercury was used in hat making until 1941.

Few there be that find it.

If you are putting together a team, and you want the best, you test the shit out of them, until their breaking point. The few that get through that test become your team..

Think about it. Now who wants to be on the team?

When God calls, you do.

And in your personal life, you make sure your are squeaky clean as far as no skeletons in the closet. Meaning, you don't have to lie to people about NOTHING. Doesn't mean you have to be a tea totalling bore, but the most honest person you know, should be you.

Then, when they come for you, and they will, you will be innocent, which makes them the chaff.

Those words completely changed my life when one day I decided to do it to the least of them. Not just hand them money, but take them into my home, give them food and shelter, and listen to their story..

The millstone around the neck changed Ballard. That's why I believe him. We've all done things before that maybe we weren't proud of. but God ALWAYS leaves a path back to him. Don't think for one minute that path is easy, but the longer you are on it, the better your balance becomes, because it's very narrow.
