Teen Girl Accused of ‘Hate Speech’ After Voicing Concerns About Transgenders in Girl’s Locker Room
A YMCA swimming coach in Illinois accused a sixteen-year-old girl of “hate speech” for voicing concerns over a male claiming to be a transgender woman walking nude in the girl’s locker room.
Last April, Abbigail Wheeler, a swimmer on the Springfield, Illinois, YMCA SPY swim team, was alarmed when a transgender woman was allowed to use the same locker room as the girls on her team.
The girl brought her concerns to head swim coach Alex Totura, but he told her there was nothing he could do to stop it. But that didn’t end the controversy as shortly afterward, several parents organized to bring their concerns to the YMCA’s Chief Executive Officer Angie Sowle, Fox News reported.
The parents requested that the facility change its policy and require trans people to use single-person bathrooms to change in.
Some of the girls on the team also allegedly began hanging signs in the women-only locker room reading “Women’s Rights,” “Biological Women Only,” and “Safe Sport.”
“‘SafeSport’ is a U.S. nonprofit authorized by Congress that is dedicated to ending physical, emotional, and sexual abuse in sports,” Fox News noted.
After the signs went up, though, Wheeler’s father said that coach Totura retaliated by saying the girl was engaging in “hate speech” and throwing her off the swim team. Totura allegedly told the girl she was “not allowed to participate with the swim team and was asked to leave the pool area,” her father says.

Excess Deaths & Post-Neonatal Deaths
In normal times (will we ever return to those?) I would report on surges in excess deaths as soon as they happened. Sadly, they are happening every week now, so I don’t write about them each time. But today I will.
Week 26 in England and Wales saw 918 excess deaths which is 9.7% above average. On its own, Wales was 19.3% above average. However, this is using the Office for National Statistics’ (ONS) new five-year average which includes the pandemic years (for 2023 they compare with 2017-2019 & 2021-2022 and for 2022 they compare with 2016-2019 & 2021).
So, if we remove the pandemic years and use 2015-2019 as the five-year average we get 1,078 excess deaths this week.
Worryingly, 2023 is looking far worse than 2022. We are close to 30,000 excess deaths already this year, compared with approximately 7,700 this time last year.

Santa Clara University Students Must Take COVID Vaccines Or Withdraw
College COVID vaccine mandates remain some of the most coercive mandates ever declared. While most colleges have now rescinded their mandates, some colleges refuse to let go, and Santa Clara University in California is one of the most oppressive.
n late April 2021, after most incoming freshmen had committed, SCU announced that all students were required to get COVID vaccines for fall enrollment or after full approval, whichever was later.
Then by mid-summer, SCU announced that students would be required to receive the vaccine even if it remained authorized only for emergency (EUA) and despite the fact that the CA Health and Safety Code codifies the Nuremberg Code. Section 24172 states
“(t)here is, and will continue to be, a growing need for protection for citizens of the state from unauthorized, needless, hazardous, or negligently performed medical experiments on human beings. It is, therefore, the intent of the Legislature, in the enacting of this chapter, to provide minimum statutory protection for the citizens of this state with regard to human experimentation and to provide penalties for those who violate such provisions.”
SCU (and many other CA colleges and universities) are in direct violation of this Code for removing informed consent by mandating EUA medical treatments.
Despite lack of efficacy or adequate safety data for this overwhelmingly healthy young adult population, in December 2021, SCU mandated the booster, midway through the academic year when students would have no choice but to comply or leave tens of thousands of dollars behind. SCU’s three-dose requirement remained through the 2022-23 school year.
