Here's a little real world AI security tip: Give your trusted person (family, friend, …) a two or three word phrase that you will both remember, but never speak aloud. Reasonably short ones work fine. Something like smoky jones or secret phrase.
If you're either in doubt you can authenticate the caller or texter. Don't ask for the phrase or you'll have to burn it and get another. Just ask for the second, third, or fourth letters. If they reply with the correct letters, it's almost certainly them. If not, disconnect.
Leave your cell phone against a rattling fan in a separate room to fill their buffers with random noise. As long as you can hear the ringer.
