Landlines may still be available in some areas and satellite phones work everywhere even if cumbersome to use and fairly expensive. Anon does not plan to have tech in personal living space, but perhaps in office in separate building on property. Amish are doing great: Christian, no "public school", bilingual, no vaccines, no CDC observance, pacifist. Why not join them, at least to some extent?
Forgot some other things about Amish: No FAFSA, no student loans, no "higher education". Done with school at what? 8th grade? Can still do all the math needed for business and are bilingual.
