In my decades of life. I've had q a few long relationships.
7 years x3 with a man and 5 years 2x with a woman.

I have stopped everything. I moved home when mom became bedridden and took care of her for a year changing diapers etc.. Now, Dad just woke up and fell. I had to run and help him back to bed. I HATE getting old. Everyone I've known is dead or dying.
