This looks like fuel storage tanks.

Picture was taken from a plane following the lead plane on the taxiway.
Plane was supposed to crash into those fuel tanks while landing at LAX?
Was the plane being flown remotely without a physical pilot? You intercepted their control? On the right track?
I am pretty sure the photo has been modified some.
