Shells and Arcs around Star CW Leonis

What's happening around this star? No one is sure. CW Leonis is the closest carbon star, a star that appears orange because of atmospheric carbon dispersed from interior nuclear fusion. But CW Leonis also appears engulfed in a gaseous carbon-rich nebula. What causes the nebula's complexity is unknown, but its geometry of shells and arcs are surely intriguing. The featured image by the Hubble Space Telescope details this complexity. The low surface gravity of carbon stars enhances their ability to expel carbon and carbon compounds into space. Some of this carbon ends up forming dark dust that is commonly seen in the nebulas of young star-forming regions and the disks of galaxies. Humans and all Earth-based life are carbon-based, and at least some of our carbon was likely once circulating in the atmospheres of near-death stars like carbon stars.

UFO hunter claims spaceship 'too big to move' being stored under major landmark

July 16, 2023

A UFO hunter claims a giant spaceship 'too big to move' is currently being stored away under a major landmark.

Ross Coulthart told the Project Unity YouTube channel: “Some of these objects are not capable of being moved because they’re too bloody big.”

The “non-human” craft is being hidden beneath a purpose-built structure, he claims. The Australian, author of In Plain Sight, said: “I know exactly where it is. I thought it was b*ks when I heard it, too.”

Coulthart's claims have sparked a frenzy within the UFO hunter community, as they desperately try to figure out the location.

There are a number of theories among the community, with some believing the wreck could be in South Korea, while others say it's more likely to be stationed at an air defence facility.

Coulthart has made headlines previously, most recently back in June by interviewing a whistleblower who alleged the US military has a number of crashed craft – and even the bodies of crew members.

Military veteran David Grusch’s claims are being taken so seriously in the US a government hearing into them could take place within weeks.

Back in February Coulthart said there are classified videos of "spherical" UFOs flying alongside US military jets during training exercises.

Coulthart said these objects, also referred to as UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena), have been seen above "nuclear sites, military installations all across the continental United States and indeed in the Middle East".

He was speaking following the appearance of at least four objects in the sky in the US - one of which was identified as a Chinese spy balloon.

Speaking during an appearance on Sky News Australia, he explained why the footage of these objects wasn't yet public.

He said: "I’ve interviewed pilots from the east and west coast of the United States that have been on training exercises where they’ve literally looked across from the cockpit of their aircraft and they’ve seen spherical objects off their right wing.

"They’ve video them and given them to their commanders and those videos are still being kept confidential.”

Moon landing legend Buzz Aldrin sets tongues wagging with odd anniversary fashion choice

11:27, 17 JUL 2023

Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin has caused a bit of a stir with a questionable fashion choice, as he celebrates the anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch.

Buzz, who famously walked on the Moon with fellow crew member Neil Armstrong, was celebrating the 54th anniversary of the famous launch day.

That mission put humans on the Moon for the first time and so it comes as no surprise that Buzz has chosen to celebrate the milestone with a special meal.

With a mouth-watering-looking plate of steak and eggs, complete with avocado and tomato, he wrote on Twitter: “#Apollo11 launch day, 54th anniversary.

“Steak and eggs today celebrating in style at home with my Anca.”

But despite the wholesome post and the incredible moment in human history that it acknowledges, fans have been left with eyebrows raised over some of the space hero’s styling.

Dripping in three watches matched with an Apollo 11 t-shirt, wagging tongues have been prominent in the comments section.

“What time is it?” added another.

One person said: “Three watches?” and another added: “3 watches ..interesting”.

The watches are understood in fact be Omegas, and the triple ice has become something of a trademark for the former astronaut, with masses of articles and conversations taking place online to discuss the unusual approach to timekeeping.

According to quotes published on Buzz Aldrin.com, he once said: “See you need an odd number (of watches) in case there is a discrepancy so you can sort out which one is what”.
