If they would remove income, business and ground tax, that would be great, but the federal government won't let that happen (in my opinion). It depends on these.
If you should fix this, and go back to gold backed money on top, then you already fixed the problems and do not really need bitcoin.
and to be honest, for money transactions into foreign countries I have no problems paying a tiny bit as transaction fee when I get chargeback capability and liability and safety for it, which I get with a credit card.
With bitcoin you get neither, but you pay transaction fees regardless.
