The box office hit movie "Sound of Freedom" will be shown to Congress on Tuesday, according to the movie's producer Eduardo Verástegui.

Verástegui made the announcement Friday on Steve Bannon's War Room TV show.

He said that he hopes that Democrat and Republican members of Congress attend this screening.

"I hope this movie will touch their hearts," he also said.

"Sound of Freedom" is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, a former Department of Homeland Security agent who quit his job about 10 years ago to rescue children who were victims of human- and sex-trafficking.

The movie hit $100 million at the box office, despite having a smaller budget than other movies including 2023 summer hits “Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny” and Pixar's “Elemental."

Former President Donald Trump held a screening of the movie Wednesday at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where Tim Ballard, Jim Caviezel who starred in the film, Verástegui made an appearance.
