Biden Administration Rule Would Ban Nearly All Portable Gas-Powered Generators

After seeking to reduce the use of gas stoves, the Biden administration is pushing a proposal to ban the sale of almost all portable gas generators—which some experts have said would be disastrous for the millions of Americans who rely on such generators during power outages.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has proposed a policy (pdf) that would remove nearly all existing portable gas generators from the market. The new rule restricts the amount of carbon monoxide that generators can emit by forcing these generators to switch off when they reach a certain level of emissions.

Smaller gas generators would have to cut carbon monoxide emissions by 50 percent, and larger generators would have to cut emissions by up to 95 percent. Nearly all models currently available are expected to not be in compliance with the new standard.

Once the proposed rules come into effect, manufacturers would have to comply with them in just six months, a process that usually takes several years. The rules would also ban manufacturers from stockpiling noncompliant generators before the new standards are enacted.

Generator Manufacturers Speak Out

In a June 28 press release, Susan Orenga, executive director of the Portable Generator Manufacturers’ Association, pointed out that CPSC’s proposal will “create a shortage of essential portable generators during regional and national emergencies because it will prevent the sale of portable generators that are currently available on the market.”

“Furthermore, the timing of the CPSC’s proposed changes are particularly concerning, given repeated warnings that two-thirds of North America is currently facing an energy shortfall this summer during periods of high demand,” she said.

Nearly 5 million households across the United States use gas powered generators during power outages, and they are particularly important during hurricane season, when powerful storms often knock out electric utilities.

In May, the North American Electric Reliability Corp. warned that two-thirds of North America could face blackouts and brownouts between June and September if there are “wide area” heat waves, wildfires, and droughts, and the agency attributed some blame for the problem to the Biden administration’s push for renewable energy.

The CPSC proposal came after the Department of Energy unveiled its Energy Policy and Conservation Program in February, which aims to establish new standards on consumer cooking products, including gas stoves. The rules are expected to ban the sale of at least half of U.S. stove models.

The Department of Energy is also focusing efforts on mandating standards for dishwashers.

In a bid to improve efficiency and cut energy usage, the agency has proposed new regulations for power and water usage for standard-size and compact dishwashers during their regular cycles.

“This Administration is using all of the tools at our disposal to save Americans money while promoting innovations that will reduce carbon pollution and combat the climate crisis,” Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm said in a statement about the regulations.

Eight Important Facts – Not Opinions – That Totally Debunk the Human – Caused Global Warming Hypothesis

1) The Global Warming “crisis” was once a global cooling “crisis”! In the 1960s, the weather started cooling off from the decades of warming that caused the 1930s dust bowl. But while the earth was cooling, the percentage of CO2 was rising at the same time. Carbon dioxide and overpopulation were blamed.

2) It is impossible to disprove the global warming hypothesis. The following have been blamed on climate change: more heat waves but also more cold spells, more droughts but also more floods, less snow but also more snow, more mental illness and suicides, more alcoholism, more crime, more bugs, rats and bats, the civil war in Syria, more earthquakes and tsunamis. Whatever happens with the weather is blamed on climate change.

3) “Climategate”: in 2009 and 2011 thousands of emails between prominent American and British scientists pushing this hypothesis were leaked. One email reads, “I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temperatures to each series for the last 20 years [the 1980s onward]”. This referred to a graph constructed by Michael Mann of Penn State University which grossly exaggerated the threat they claimed existed.

4) TRILLIONS of dollars have been spent on grants for alarmist scientists, trips for elites in their private jets to climate conferences, huge subsidies (paid by taxpayers) for EVs and solar panel and wind farms that take up huge land areas and are literally destroying wildlife and the environment. Well-placed individuals reaping the cash rewards of this deception – wind farms and carbon trading – have made fortunes. The main spokesman, Al Gore, increased his net worth from $1.7 million to $330 million from his investments in “green” energy. His documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, claimed that melting in West Antarctica or Greenland would cause a twenty-foot sea level increase in the near future. Actually the sea level is increasing by about 1 millimeter per year, the thickness of your fingernail, or seven inches per century. This is verified by NOAA. Between 2005 and 2017 no major hurricanes hit the coast of the United States, setting a record for the longest period of time with no category-3 or greater hurricanes. For decades scientists have been handsomely paid with government grants to push the human-generated climate crisis narrative. If they say there’s no problem, their grants will be discontinued and they’ll be out of a job.

5) Most scientists do not believe there is a climate crisis. Recently a Nobel prize winning physicist, John Clouser, declared, “The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people”. Another prominent scientist, Hal Lewis, called it “the greatest and most successful fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist”. In the 2007 Global Warming Petition project 31,487 scientists declared, “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane or other greenhouse gases is causing, or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate”. Some scientists, fearful of losing their jobs, waited till they retired to speak out.

6) Carbon dioxide is NOT the main “greenhouse gas”. It comprises only about four hundredths of a percent (0.0415%) of the atmosphere. The main greenhouse gas, water vapor, is 70-100 times more powerful in holding atmospheric heat.

7) Blaming methane and nitrous oxide for contributing to climate change is now being used as an excuse to steal farms from their owners and otherwise (under ESG mandates) destroy agriculture. Yet the truth is that the incidence of methane is just TWO parts per million, totally insignificant. Vegan alarmists have demonized these gases to force farmers to get rid of their cows, goats and sheep, to be replaced by lab “meat”. Because methane is produced in the growing of rice, policy makers want to forbid farmers from growing this crop that is a staple of half of the world’s people. The US and the European Union pressured over 100 nations to pledge to reduce the amount of methane and nitrous oxide in their countries a whopping 30% by the year 2030. If these nations actually go through with their promise, millions of people could starve. This is already happening in Sri Lanka, Ghana and South Africa.

8) The earth is noticeably greener – evidenced in satellite photos – as a result of the slight increase in carbon dioxide. Because CO2 is vital for photosynthesis, which keeps us alive, the small increase in this trace gas has been a boon to agricultural production. Plants grow faster, absorbing more CO2 in the process.

General David H. Berger, Rtd., Heads to Mar-a-Lago

Former USMC Commandant and White Hat commander General David H. Berger has accepted a new post as President Donald J. Trump’s civilian liaison to the White Hats.

The venerable general had served the nation since 1981, when, as a young infantry officer, he rewrote the book on Ambush tactics the Marines had used since Vietnam. Although senior officers at the time were skeptical of his revised playbook, his tactics proved instrumental in saving Marine lives years later in Iraq and Afghanistan. Berger commanded the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines from 2002 to 2004, deploying the battalion first to Okinawa, and later to Haiti in support of Operation Secure Tomorrow, among many meritorious commands. On March 26, 2019, President Donald Trump nominated him to succeed General Robert B. Neller and become the 38th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps. And in the aftermath of the stolen 2020 presidential election, Gen. Berger vowed to help Trump dismantle the criminal Biden regime and purge the Beltway of swamp creatures. He led battles against innumerable enemies, foreign and domestic.

He stepped down as the White Hat commander shortly before he faced a harrowing ordeal at the hands of CIA kidnappers. Following his rescue by valiant Marines, the general spent time recovering from a brutal beating that left him with a broken kneecap and other significant wounds. He officially retired from the Corps on July 10, 2023.

His career as a decorated officer is the stuff of legends.

If any Marine deserves a comfortable retirement, General Berger does. Before resigning, however, he told President Trump he couldn’t in good conscience “leave the battlefield” while Deep Staters still ran amok in the country, corroding everything they touched, and implored the president to enlist him as a personal liaison to Gen. Smith’s office.

Sources at Mar-a-Lago and Gen. Smith’s office gave Real Raw News some insight into the Trump-Berger conversation and what Berger’s duties might entail.

“Trump initially opposed the idea, but only because he felt Gen. Berger had done his time, earned his battles scars, and ought to enjoy his retirement in peace. But Gen. Berger countered with a convincing argument that his expertise would be invaluable even as a civilian advisor. Trump agreed,” the Mar-a-Lago source said.

Gen. Smith’s adjunct gave more context: “Gen. Berger will not be involved in planning any White Hat operations at all. He can make Gen. Smith’s plans, umm, more understandable to non-military ears. Not that President Trump is dumb about military ops; he spent years advising generals and admirals himself. Generals Berger and Smith will have routine contact. General Berger will also be advising Trump on how to better fortify his properties against a Deep State attack.”

Both sources said that General Berger will alternate his time between Trump’s Mar-a-Lago command center and Bedminster estate in New Jersey, as well as flights on Trump Force One, in case the shit hits the fan while Trump is airborne.

“Even off the battlefield General Berger will still be a crucial player in the war against the Deep State, said Gen. Smith’s adjunct.
