I don't have a car for two reasons.

I live in a very small country, everything is walking distance from me and anything further away I can get to by train.

I don't trust myself behind a wheel. I tend to disappear into my own thoughts and lose awareness of my surroundings. Happened a lot when I was a kid on a moped… leading to me crashing most of the time. Luckily I only ever broke a few bones and never injured anyone else.
