THIS IS WHY THEY ARE SO PISSED

How Trump’s Immigration Executive Order Prevents Child Sex Trafficking on Southern Border

After President Trump signed an executive order last Wednesday afternoon, effectively ending “family separations” occurring at the US-Mexico border where illegal immigrants are detained after crossing into the United States, Democrats and the liberal media started beating its chest.

“We won! We made him cave, this is the most embarrassing moment for Trump and his presidency,” leftists exclaimed.

The mainstream media claimed that Trump caved and that the president’s base supporters were tragically saddened and disappointed the Commander-in-Chief didn’t have the guts to stick to his policy and is even less committed to securing the border than Obama was.

Rather than declaring victory after President Trump’s executive order addressed their objections to children being taken from their parents at the border, Democrats began to claim detaining any illegal immigrants is “a crime against humanity,”proving that they are insincere about solving illegal immigration, that their primary interest is effectively fully open borders and amnesty for all currently detained illegal immigrants.

Yet, Trump’s executive order ending family separations, may have a direct correlation to preventing child trafficking.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is insisting adults detained while traveling with children and claiming to be their parents would have to take a DNA test, along with other biometrics, to prove they were related. Many of those caught with children are not their parents but coyotes paid to take them across the border or — worse — human traffickers. They’re less likely to try to sneak unaccompanied children into the country if they can be identified in this way.

As Gateway Pundit reported, the Office of Refugee Resettlement under the Obama administration neglected to protect thousand of Central American children who surged across the U.S. border by failing to properly vet government approved caretakers who often times were traffickers and abusers.

DNA testing would serve as a means to return some 3,700 children to their parents.

ACLU Letter to the Senate Opposing Israel Anti-Boycott Act

The ACLU wrote to members of the Senate to urge them to oppose and refrain from co-sponsoring the Israel Anti-Boycott Act (H.R. 1697/S. 720). The impacts of the legislation would be antithetical to free speech protections enshrined in the First Amendment and we urged members to oppose the legislation in the absence of significant revisions.

Date & venue of Putin-Trump meeting agreed – presidential adviser

Russia and US have agreed the date and time of the much anticipated talks between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Russian president’s adviser Yury Ushakov said, adding that details of the meeting will be revealed on Thursday.

The two leaders are likely to meet midday and hold one-on-one negotiations, followed by a joint press-conference, Ushakov told RIA Novosti.

The talks between Putin and Trump may last “for a few hours,” he said, adding that a working breakfast and other protocol events are also scheduled.

The adviser called the get together of the Russian and US presidents “the main international event of this summer,” saying that it is of paramount importance for the two nations and the global community.

Ushakov also said that US National Security Adviser, John Bolton, who held talks with Putin earlier on Wednesday, didn’t bring any kind of special address from Trump to his Russian counterpart. “There were only wishes of success,” he said.

Contacts between Moscow and Washington on the preparation of the talks have intensified in mid-June, Trump expressed hope that he could meet Putin soon.

CHOKING IRAN INTO SUBMISSION

US threatens sanctions against countries that fail to cut off Iranian oil imports, meets resistance

Washington may slap sanctions on governments that fail to reduce Iranian oil imports to "zero" by early November, a senior State Department official has warned. But some partners seem reluctant to follow the demand.

The US administration has been pushing its allies to follow US President Donald Trump's lead after he decided to pull out of the landmark nuclear agreement between Iran and six world powers. A senior State Department official told reporters on Tuesday he had been traveling to Europe and Asia to convince allies to isolate the "stream of Iranian funding."

Washington's allies, including those dependent on Iran’s oil, should ultimately refuse the imports by November 4 or else face secondary US sanctions. It was stressed that there are no waivers planned.

This mean that the Trump administration will not allow countries to gradually phase out Iran’s oil exports over the duration of many months like the Obama White House did.

"We have a lot of diplomatic muscle memory for urging, cajoling, negotiating with our partners to reduce their investments to zero," the unnamed State Department official said.

Their trip did not included Turkey, and the largest importers of Iran's oil - India and China - so far, but the countries are also to be urged to stop purchases by early November.

India and China traditionally used to get a waiver from sanctions and kept trading with Iran even before the 2015 agreement, so speculation is rife as to whether they will manage to find workarounds this time.

The State Department acknowledges that cutting off Iranian oil imports completely is a “challenge” that no country “wants to do voluntarily”.

Among Iran’s most significant customers are China, South Korea, India and Japan. The State Department said that, even if reluctantly, Tokyo understands "that the Secretary and the White House aren't kidding" about sanctions, the official said.

In Europe, where the biggest customers are France and Italy, the US is meeting resistance - especially among those countries that helped negotiate the Iran deal. The UK, France and Germany voiced opposition to Trump's withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the EU put measures in place aimed at protecting companies from secondary sanctions.

il prices spiked on the announcement, which already comes during concerns about shortages and crude prices hitting a three-and-a-half-year high.

The withdrawal from the nuclear deal left the US isolated, as its close allies, including France, UK, and Germany, have been working to prevent the agreement from crumbling. Meanwhile Iran vowed to reopen its second uranium enrichment facility if the nuclear deal collapses.
