A Tennessee woman has been charged with a slew of disturbing offences including downloading child pornography and recording her dog performing sex acts on her.

Stephanie Weir, 33, was arrested Tuesday following a complaint from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alerting Memphis Police about her alleged crimes.

The NCMEC told officials that Weir had child pornography on an online cloud account, and when police executed a search warrant, they uncovered both the disturbing images as well as a video of her with her pet dog.

She reportedly confessed to the crimes after being taken into custody, and she remains behind bars on a $200,000 bond as she faces a slew of criminal charges.

The complaint from the NCMEC came after Synchronoss Technologies Inc, a tech firm based in New Jersey, notified the authority over a person with 'apparent child pornography' on their account, according to an affidavit.

The image that sparked an investigation into her was of a 'child in a lascivious pose nude', which was discovered after it was flagged by Synchronoss, which is also Verizon's cloud platform provider.

After law enforcement obtained a search warrant, they uncovered further lewd images and videos, including children engaged in sex acts with other children, children posed nude - and the video of Weir 'having her pet dog perform a sex act on her.'

While under questioning in custody, the affidavit stated that the 33-year-old admitted to cops that she had used her phone to contact certain groups on social media and search for child pornography.

She also reportedly confessed to storing the disgusting material on her cloud account, and using her phone to take a nude picture of a toddler to send to another person.

After being confronted with the video of her with her pet dog, Weir confessed to recording that too. She is scheduled to appear back in court Monday.
