The irony is that Canada is asking long term pain patients to consider killing themselves because of the shortage in opiate pain pills in Canada.

They want all pain patients except transgenders to commit suicide.

But transgenders are not permitted

I can tell you what caused my pain . A failed root canal that put me in the ER with severe pain neurologist said I have permanently damaged tissues and nerves that will never heal. Everyday I feel like I have had a tooth ripped out with no pain killers.

It’s no fun being i pain all. Day and all night

Did you know that only 25 % of the population can become addicted to opiates?

Yet they restrict its use because of the few that abuse it , mostly recreational users like George Ffolyd types.

Did you know that they treat chronic pain with gabapentin now. They hand it out like candy. You want more ? Here take all these bottles home.

Did you know gabapentin is the 5th most common drug to cause death in UK?

Did you know your body becomes physically addicted to gabapentin and it’s near impossible to get off of it?

Opiates are not as dangerous as the AM A would have you believe.

Why would you believe them about opiates when they lied about ivermectin and HVQ for Covid?

I may sound a little angry tonight but I have never been angry about what happened to me.

I get a little depressed now and then about it all.

I feel very fortunate to have a good spouse and family support to help me. I know many people have no family and have to deal with bad health problems by themselves and I feel sorry for them.

I will check into that. But I have been taking a good magnesium supplement for months to offset the effects from gabapentin and because it’s supposed to be good for nerve damage.

Also good for high blood pressure.

And sleep. It does help.

Yes

I was dumb enough to take it and it did almost kill me

But when you’re in unbearable pain and they won’t give you enough opiates to ease the pain you do what you can to get by.

Gabapentin is a million times worse than any opiate. Yet, they will tell you it’s totally safe.

It doesn’t even work that good for pain

You are lucky.

There are lots of nightmares stories of people on and trying to get off it.

It caused me so much misery I was ready to kill myself to stop the agony.

I have had 3 doctors tell me to get off it if I can. I am trying but it’s a very slow process and cause severe withdrawal symptoms

There support groups for people getting off gabapentin

Don’t believe me if you don’t want to.

I am just trying to spare people the nightmare I went through and still am

Why was pregabalin and gabapentin reclassified?

The drugs – pregabalin and gabapentin – became illegal to possess without a prescription and illegal to supply or sell to others in the UK from April 2019. The move came after experts highlighted the potential for misuse, and rising numbers of fatalities linked to the drugs.Feb 13, 2023

Ty

I understand what you are saying.

I take tramadol which is constipating as are opiates.

Since I started taking magnesium supplement, I no longer have a problem with that.

This is one I am taking

Your body becomes physically dependent on it.

You may find yourself needing a little more as time goes on to get sane effect.

Att some point it may start causing you brain fog and stomach cramps and hot flashes. And other side effects. Maybe , maybe not but it commonly does.

Then, at some point, you may want to get off of it and try something else.

And , if you follow doctors instructions or those on insert, you will start tapering off of it because you can’t stop it suddenly. It’s a seizure med and could cause seizures if you stop cold.

And you may find, like I did that although you followed instructions, the tapering was still way too fast. It may not affect you for 3-4 weeks afterwards. You think you’re having a heart attack and go to ER but they can’t find anything. Then you think you have a flu for weeks. Then you might feel better for a week. Then it hits worse. Your heart , blood pressure, ear buzzing, can’t breathe, can’t sleep, can’t eat, but no one knows what is wrong with you but they are sure it’s not because of gabapentin. It’s just you.

Then you want to kill yourself because you’re in pure misery all day long, every day.

Look up the symptoms of gabapentin withdrawal.

And , if you don’t have family to care for you, you may just do it

You think you have a flu, but the flu never ends. You may

I watched a Monk episode about a chess player that murdered his wife. The guy used the castling move in a game and that was how Monk solved the case. Something about the guy switching bodies in a grave if I remember correctly.
