AI is a misnomer. Possibly intentional.
AI implies "intelligence". But what we call AI right now has no "intelligence", they are just generative models i.e. glorified random generators / search engines.
Systems like ChatGPT doesn't consider and intelligently replies to your prompt.
It just takes your prompt and continues it based on what it has been trained on would be the next logical words based on the prompt.
