Oldanon still hangs around but not that much as I did during WWIII from Late October 2017 through late January 2021, not even close. Oldanon relishes those times, manning my battle station along with my fellow warrioranons manning their battle stations over 12 hours/day, sometime many more.
Things have changed here at qresearch, and well it should. 90+% of the commenters here never knew that feeling of COMBAT. However, there are many newbies who are making great memes still, things are going great.
But it is very hard to explain. Those days in battle. My only comparison, and it is weak, is when I was acting as navigator below deck shouting out tacks to the captain who was lashed to the mast on a small (32 ft) sailboat as we sailed up the Chesapeake from Norfolk right into the NW quadrant of a north bound hurricane just skimming the eastern coast. We were sailing straight into the wind. The only thing which could be seen was the tip of the next wave, 10-15 meters away.
It was a 10-12 hour ordeal. We got out of it and the captain/owner decided that we couldn't get home so we docked and checked in to a small hotel. I got of of that sailboat as fast as I could. Then, an hour or so while the 3 of us (there was another man on board but he was useless) were at dinner.
Towards the end of dinner I leaned back and longed to get back in that sailboat. Yes, even knowing our lives were in danger of death (over 75% of the bay is less than 6 ft deep, that was our draft) I missed it. At that moment, if the headwinds were still blowing, I would have jumped back in that boat in a second.
Maybe something's wrong with oldanon.
