The body of missing Goldman Sachs banker John Castic has been discovered two days after the Manhattan financier vanished from a Brooklyn nightclub.
A significant police presence was seen at Newtown Creek, around half a mile from the Brooklyn Mirage, as remains were hauled from the water at around 1pm Tuesday.
Several large NYPD vessels and rigid inflatable speedboats were first seen in the water shortly after 11:30am, with police confirming several hours later that the body was Castic.
The 27-year-old banker from Chicago vanished after telling friends he was getting an Uber home to his apartment in the early hours of Sunday.
The discovery comes just weeks after another man was found dead in the same creek after vanishing from the same Brooklyn venue.
Castic's cause of death has not been revealed. …
