Gowdy has had to look/act bipartisan for the sake of optics and getting confirmed on SCOTUS.
The entirety of the US Gov't has been "all talk, no action" for quite a long time now. It has to be pretty hard to get anything done, much less any sort of JUSTICE done, when your hands are so tightly tied (and everyone is blackmailed or a pedo kek).
