GOP Rep. Ronny Jackson Handcuffed, Detained While Trying to Help with Medical Emergency at Rodeo

On Saturday, trying to do the right thing led to Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas being put in handcuffs and briefly detained.

The incident happened at the White Deer Rodeo in the town of White Deer about 40 miles from Amarillo, according to the Texas Tribune.

A statement from Jackson’s office said he was attending the rodeo when he was “summoned by someone in the crowd to assist a 15-year-old girl who was having a medical emergency nearby.”

The statement that Jackson, who was a White House doctor for former President Barack Obama, was informed by a relative that the girl needed help in addition to the assistance being provided because “no uniformed EMS providers on the scene at the time.”

“While assessing the patient in a very loud and chaotic environment, confusion developed with law enforcement on the scene and Dr. Jackson was briefly detained and was actually prevented from further assisting the patient,” the statement continued.

He was immediately released as soon as law enforcement realized that he, as a medical professional, was tending to the young girl’s medical emergency.”

The statement noted said Jackson was “in the stands during the entire rodeo, in full view of the assembled crowd, and was not drinking.”

Sheriff Tam Terry said in a statement a person was “temporarily detained” but did not identify Jackson. He said he is reviewing the incident.

In a Facebook post in which she referred to Jackson as “ER DR” (which he is professionally), Linda Dianne Shouse gave her summation of the incident.

“I have never been more disappointed in our Rescue Team!!! I got called to render aide to my 15 year old cousin that was unresponsive at the White Deer Rodeo tonight!! She is not from here and was seen at the ER last night as she was told for dehydration and anemia!! I assessed her and she was NOT dehydrated! She was responsive to my voice but not aware of her surroundings. Respirations in the 40s. As I assessed her I noticed she looked as tho it was hypoglycemic episode,” she wrote.

“My cousin who is a BSN in a trauma hospital, myself and an ER DR were working on her. Had her responsive to her whereabouts! ER Dr agreed with me that she was seizing due to possible hypoglycemia. Sheriff’s department put a blood pressure monitor on her below her waist. I rose it to heart level and as she is awake and respirations are slowing down I placed a small piece of gum in a ball UNDER her tongue to give her some sugar. (Better than nothing).”

“Deputys screamed at me and not listening to any thing US medical Professionals had to say, they punched me in my chest and forced me back with a palm to my face as well causing me to fall backwards!! ER Dr was thrown to the grown and ARRESTED!!! I am beside myself!! Prayers for Bailey!!!!!” she concluded.

She later posted an update on Facebook.

“Debbie Bonds, Jamie Ots Turney, and myself would like to personally Thank Dr Ronny Jackson for his act of kindness and assistance in taking care of our 15 year old at the White Deer Rodeo! Us Healthcare Professionals worked very well together communicating during this medical crisis that occured! Again thank you so very much for being where you were needed with your Healthcare Professionalism!” she wrote.

Shouse told CNN that at one point a law enforcement official was in Jackson’s face, screaming at Jackson to “Get the f*** back.”

Meta starts blocking news in Canada

The move comes in response to a new law requiring tech companies to pay news publishers

Meta Platforms has announced that it will begin blocking access to any news content on Instagram and Facebook for all users in Canada in order to comply with a recently passed law that requires social media companies to pay their “fair share to news organizations.”

In a statement published on Tuesday, Meta stated that effective immediately, links and content published by Canadian and international news outlets on Meta’s apps will no longer be viewable by users in Canada. Additionally, Canadians will no longer be able to share any news content on Facebook or Instagram, including articles and audio-visual content posted by news outlets. These changes will be implemented over the next few weeks, Meta said.

The so-called Online News Act, which was passed by the Canadian parliament in June, forces platforms like Google and Meta to negotiate commercial deals with Canadian news publishers for their content.

Lawmakers claim that the bill aims to support the sustainability of news organizations by regulating “digital news intermediaries with a view to enhancing fairness in the Canadian digital news marketplace.”

The legislation, however, has been heavily condemned by the tech giants, with Meta arguing that it misrepresents the value news outlets receive when choosing to use social media platforms.

“The legislation is based on the incorrect premise that Meta benefits unfairly from news content shared on our platforms, when the reverse is true. News outlets voluntarily share content on Facebook and Instagram to expand their audiences and help their bottom line. In contrast, we know the people using our platforms don’t come to us for news,” Rachel Curran, Meta’s head of public policy in Canada, said.

Canadian Heritage Minister Pascale St-Onge, who is in charge of the government’s dealings with Meta, called the company’s move “irresponsible.”

“They would rather block their users from accessing good quality and local news instead of paying their fair share to news organizations,” St-Ogne said, adding that “we’re going to keep standing our ground.”

Canada’s Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre also lamented Meta’s decision, but placed the blame for the situation solely on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“It’s like 1984,” Poilievre said. “You have a prime minister passing a law to make news articles disappear from the internet!” he added, suggesting that Trudeau “doesn’t want Canadians to see the facts of life.”

Minnesota Will No Longer Report Number of Babies Who Survive Abortion or Their Fate

The abortion party continues their evil. On August 1, 2023, a new version of Minnesota’s abortion reporting law went into effect.

The new language will hide the fate of infants who survive abortion by no longer requiring abortionists to report when abortions result in live births.

Additionally, they will no longer report what measures are taken to care for such infants.

This follows the earlier repeal of Minnesota’s requirement that reasonable measures be taken to “preserve the life and health” of born-alive infants, replacing it with a requirement for “care.”

Under the new language, an infant could be denied lifesaving care and allowed to die.

MCCL, Minnesota’s oldest pro-life organization shared:

“Minnesota lawmakers have revoked basic protection for newborn babies, and now the fate of newborns who survive abortion will be hidden from the public,” said MCCL Co-Executive Director Cathy Blaeser. “Why do lawmakers want to keep us in the dark? This appalling extremism is not what Minnesotans asked for. Our elected officials must restore protection for newborns who are at risk.”

The weakened version of Minnesota’s abortion reporting law, which takes effect Aug. 1, repeals the requirement that practitioners report “whether the abortion resulted in a born alive infant,” “any medical actions taken to preserve the life of the born alive infant,” “whether the born alive infant survived,” and “the status of the born alive infant, should the infant survive, if known.”

In recent years, five born-alive infants were reported in 2015, five in 2016, three in 2017, three in 2018, three in 2019, and five in 2021, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. This information will no longer be available.

Bankrupt FTX Confirms Plan to Relaunch Crypto Exchange After Feds Drop Another Charge Against Founder Sam Bankman-Fried

The bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX has officially confirmed its plans to relaunch following the announcement that the government would drop a federal charge against its founder Sam Bankman-Fried.

The announcement comes after federal prosecutors on Thursday dropped a federal campaign charge against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.

The feds said they dropped the campaign finance charge against the crypto scammer and Democrat donor due to a ‘procedural failing.’

Sam Bankman-Fried, a 30-year-old Democrat darling, spent more than $40 million to fund the midterms with his Ponzi scheme through the crypto exchange he founded (FTX). Up to $2 billion is ‘missing’ after FTX collapsed last year.

The plans were unveiled by the bankruptcy administrators, with John J. Ray III, appointed CEO in the aftermath of FTX’s collapse in November 2022, leading the charge.

The new plan will focus on serving offshore clients and includes a detailed pathway for one class of claimants, in cooperation with third-party investors, to restart the FTX exchange.

However, this plan requires collective agreement before any decision can be made. According to the proposition, former FTT holders are not entitled to receive anything, according to Watcher.guru.

“We are pleased today to deliver on our commitment to file the Plan at this relatively early stage – before the expiration of the customer bar dates, the completion of our pending investigations and the preparation of a disclosure statement,” said John J. Ray III, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of the FTX Debtors.

“This is expected to facilitate creditor feedback to further discuss open issues in the Plan with stakeholders, including the unsecured creditors committee, the ad hoc committee of non-U.S. customers and other parties with whom we have been in discussion. Our goal is to achieve a consensual plan and emergence from bankruptcy. We are committed to working through these matters in the third quarter of 2023 and to filing an amended plan and a disclosure statement in the fourth quarter of 2023,” he added.

Pentagon Pulls 1,100 Troops From Southern Border

The Pentagon is pulling 1,100 active duty troops from the U.S.–Mexico border it deployed earlier this year as the government prepared for the end of asylum restrictions linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin approved the deployment of a total of 1,500 active duty troops for a temporary 90-day mission at the border in May, when the Trump-era Title 42 border policy was lifted.

The 1,100 troops will conclude their 90-day border mission on Aug. 8.

At the time of their deployment, Pentagon press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said that the troops would not be interacting directly with immigrants, but instead doing tasks like data entry or warehouse support with the goal of freeing up Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel to be out in the field.

The Title 42 restrictions allowed U.S. officials to swiftly return illegal immigrants over the border on the grounds of preventing the spread of COVID-19.

In the days leading up to the lifting of Title 42, illegal border crossings were increasing. Border agents were encountering 10,000 immigrants a day and at one point had 27,000 immigrants in custody.

The rising influx of immigrants at the time may be attributable to rumors the immigrants were told that border crossings would become more difficult after the lifting of Title 42.

According to the agency, the number of apprehended illegal border crossings dropped to about 5,000 a day after the lifting of Title 42, a number that stayed relatively stable for several months.

Court Challenges

But it’s far from clear how permanent these drops are. Already the number of people crossing the Darien Gap, a key route for immigrants headed to the United States from South America, during the first seven months of the year is more than for all of 2022 combined.

On Monday, CBP agents at Tucson, Arizona, reported 10,000 apprehensions in one week, in their area alone.

The active duty military troops’ departure comes as the Biden administration’s immigration agenda faces court challenges.

Last week, U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar ruled that crossing the border illegally should not be a disqualifier for applying for asylum. The administration is appealing that ruling, arguing that it’s a key part of their efforts to maintain order on the border.

Separately the Department of Justice last week threatened to sue the state of Texas if it did not remove floating buoys in the Rio Grande River intended to repel illegal immigrant crossings; measures that, according to the DOJ, present a humanitarian and environmental concern.

Last month, a Florida federal court denied a request by President Joe Biden’s administration to continue releasing illegal border crossers into the United States without court dates.

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he and his wife, Sophie, are separating

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is separating from his wife, former television host Sophie Grégoire, after 18 years of marriage, he announced Wednesday.

“Sophie and I would like to share that, after numerous difficult and reflective conversations, we have made the decision to separate,” Trudeau, 51, said in a statement.

“As always, we remain a close family with profound love for one another and for everything we have built and continue to build.

“For the wellbeing of our children, we ask that you respect our privacy and theirs. Thank you.”

Trudeau and Grégoire, 48, first met as children in Montréal.

They reconnected as adults in 2003, and were married two years later, CBC News reported at the time.

The couple shares three children, the youngest of whom was born one year before Trudeau was elected prime minister for the first time in 2015.

Trudeau’s office confirmed on Wednesday that the pair had already signed a legal agreement.

“They have worked to ensure that all legal and ethical steps with regards to their decision to separate have been taken, and will continue to do so moving forward,” the statement read.

“They remain a close family and Sophie and the prime minister are focused on raising their kids in a safe, loving and collaborative environment. The family will be together on vacation, beginning next week.”

Trudeau is only the second Canadian Prime Minister to announce a separation while in office.

His father, Pierre Trudeau, separated from his much-younger wife, Margaret, in 1979, and was formally divorced in 1984.

Coca-Cola-owned Costa Coffee is facing a boycott in Britain over a promotional cartoon depicting a transgender person with surgically removed breasts drinking its coffee.

The top coffeehouse chain in the UK has sparked outrage over an advert that has been accused of supporting the “mutilation of healthy young girls” after an advertisement depicting a blue-haired surfer with what strongly appears to be a cartoon representation of a double mastectomy drinking coffee appeared on a company van.

Many are now calling for a boycott of the Coca-Cola-owned company akin to the movement in the United States against Bud Light after the beer brand partnered with controversial transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox wrote: “You are promoting the mutilation of healthy young girls. I hope you are boycotted out of existence. #BoycottCostaCoffee”

Sex Matters board member Maya Forstater told The Telegraph: “The cartoon-like picture of a young woman who has had her breasts surgically removed is shocking and irresponsible.

“Young women are being sold a lie that if they have their breasts removed and take hormones they can become men or at least avoid being women.”

Actor and comedian Rob Schneider recently highlighted what he believes is the attempt of politicians in the United States taking systematic measures to strip power from the people.

In an extended social media post on Twitter, Schneider warned that the incremental steps being taken by government officials, including both elected representatives and unelected bureaucrats, are slowly leading America down a path of subjugation.

Huge Hollywood star wants to manipulate gun owners with new ‘gun control’ term

In a recent interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey called for a change in terminology within the firearms debate, advocating the use of the term “gun responsibility” over “gun control.”

McConaughey, who was vocal in demanding change after the Uvalde, Texas, shooting, commented on the framing of the gun control debate during the recent interview.

In a effort to bridge the funding gap, McConaughey announced the Green Lights Grant Initiative, founded with his wife Camilla. Their mission is to help schools connect with the federal grant money for safety and security measures.

“This grant initiative is going to connect those districts to those billions of dollars that’s there, available, and wants to be used to make our kids safe,” he stated.

The actor previously discussed gun control measures during a 2018 rally speech for the anti-gun group March For Our Lives, where he encouraged responsible gun owners to “take one for the team” and surrender some of their gun rights, including the ownership of semi-automatic long guns and certain magazines.

RFK Jr. Super PAC Says Most Funding Through June Came From One GOP Mega-Donor

A super PAC backing Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reported a haul of $10 million through June and said half of that money came from a single mega-donor with a history of supporting Republicans.

American Values 2024 reported raising $9.8 million through the end of June and another $6 million coming in July alone, giving the group a total haul of around $16 million since it launched in April, the same month Kennedy announced his presidential bid, POLITICO reported. Of the $9.8 million raised through June, $5 million came from American businessman and former Donald Trump supporter Timothy Mellon.

In a statement to CNBC on his contribution, Mellon, who gave $1.5 million to a group aligned with Trump last fall, said Kennedy is “the one candidate who can who can unite the country and root out corruption and the one Democrat who can win in the general election.”

Mellon has given $45 million to the Congressional Leadership Fund, which is associated with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and $30 million to the Senate Senate Leadership Fund $53, which is aligned with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Business Insider reported. The billionaire also gave $53 million to an effort by Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott to build a border wall.

Kennedy, who is polling at 14% nationally in the Democratic primary per the Real Clear Politics average, has sought to appeal to a wide range of Democrats, Republicans, and independent voters who are tired of the Washington establishment. Another big donation to the super PAC backing Kennedy came from Gavin De Becker, a consultant who has been a close adviser to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. De Becker has donated to both Democrats and Republicans in the past and reported giving American Values 2024 $4.5 million.

Kennedy’s top donors include a mix of Democrats and Republicans and dozens of people who previously donated to committees associated with Trump and Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, according to POLITICO. The Democrat has gained favor among many Republicans for his criticisms of the war in Ukraine and the U.S. government pushing the COVID vaccines. Prominent liberals, such as hedge fund manager Bill Ackman and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, have also come out in support of Kennedy’s 2024 bid.

Nearly $5 million of Kennedy’s $6 million July haul came as he testified before the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on July 20. During his testimony, Kennedy told lawmakers that the federal government colluded with Big Tech corporations to censor his social media posts and shut down his account.

New World Order Setback: Kenya Suspends Globalist Digital ID and Cryptocurrency Project Worldcoin a Week After Launch

While most of the world stands oblivious, Worldcoin is rolling out a possible key tool in the Globalist Elite Cabal’s plans for total control of the globe. But a week after launch, Kenya has stepped up to be the first nation to truly pump the brakes.

On Wednesday, the African nation’s Interior Ministry suspended use of the Worldcoin “orbs” to gather iris scans in exchange for a digital ID and some cryptocurrency. They intend to fully investigate what the company is really doing with the data and if any of it is safe. According to Reuters:

The project founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman launched last week. It requires users to give their iris scans in exchange for a digital ID, and in some countries users also get free cryptocurrency as part of plans to create a new “identity and financial network”.

“Relevant security, financial services and data protection agencies have commenced inquiries and investigations to establish the authenticity and legality of the aforesaid activities,” interior minister Kithure Kindiki said in a statement. Worldcoin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Kindiki said the government was concerned with Worldcoin’s activities, and agencies would probe how it intends to use the data it gathers. He said action would be taken against anyone who engages with its activities, without elaborating.

Local media have reported that more than 350,000 Kenyans had signed up for Worldcoin as of Tuesday, in exchange for free cryptocurrency tokens worth around 7,000 Kenyan shillings ($49.09).

Kenya is the first nation to act against Worldcoin, but other nations have already launched probes into the company even as the project moves forward. Watchdog groups in Britain, Germany and France are all taking a closer look.

DOJ raises conflict of interest issues with Walt Nauta’s attorney in Mar-a-Lago case

The Justice Department (DOJ) is teeing up the possible disqualification of the attorney representing Walt Nauta, one of former President Trump’s alleged co-conspirators in the Mar-a-Lago case, warning the lawyer may have conflicts of interest after representing numerous witnesses in the probe.

Stanley Woodward has represented “at least seven other individuals who have been questioned in connection with the investigation,” including those who have testified about Nauta, the DOJ disclosed Wednesday.

DOJ is requesting a so-called Garcia hearing with Woodward’s clients “to inform them of potential risks and inquire into possible waivers,” noting that the court could provide an additional independent counsel to Nauta to assess whether he is being fairly represented by Woodward.

“Nauta should be thoroughly advised of the potential conflicts and attendant risks. Witness 1 and Witness 2 should also be present at the hearing and apprised of the risk that Mr. Woodward may use or disclose confidences he obtained from them,” the DOJ writes, referencing others that have testified about Nauta.

The DOJ also asks the court to assess whether Nauta fully understands the risk associated with his current attorney.

“If Nauta indicates he wishes to waive any conflicts, the Court should conduct an inquiry to determine whether the waiver is knowing and voluntary, and the Court should then determine whether to accept Nauta’s waiver,” the DOJ writes.

The motion comes following reports about the extent of Trump’s financing of attorneys for allies now embroiled in legal trouble due to their connection with him as well as the decision of Yuscil Taveras to switch attorneys, abandoning representation by Woodward.

Taveras, the Mar-a-Lago employee responsible for overseeing security cameras, previously received a target letter in the probe, but after switching attorneys he flipped, prompting the superseding indictment that detailed Trump’s involvement in attempting to delete Mar-a-Lago security footage.

That indictment also relied on information from Taveras that led to the naming of a third co-conspirator in the case, Carlos de Oliveira, a Mar-a-Lago property manager who helped Nauta move boxes and was part of the effort to delete the footage.

Woodward declined to comment on the matter but the filing indicates he will respond in court.

“Mr. Woodward has indicated that as a general matter he does not oppose the Court informing his client of the client’s rights or inquiring into potential waivers, but that he will not consent to this motion without seeing it in advance, and he requests the opportunity to respond,” the DOJ writes.

A man in Texas has been charged with sexual assault and human smuggling, months after his father, who posed as a Hasidic Jew with a “unique family” of nine adopted sons, was arrested for a slew of sex crimes.

Hayim Nissim Cohen, 39, fabricated his Jewish background and used the fake persona to help him adopt nine boys. He paraded the family on social media and in the news, receiving glowing coverage from Jewish and mainstream US media outlets.

Behind the sunny facade, however, he allegedly sexually abused some of his own adopted sons and a foreign exchange student who stayed with the family.

He was arrested in March on 11 charges of child sexual and physical abuse and remains in custody.

His eldest adopted son, Avshalom Cohen, 22, was arrested last month and charged in Houston with felony sexual assault of a child. He remains in police custody and his lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.

Avshalom Cohen sexually assaulted one of his younger adopted brothers in 2020, according to charging documents, an accusation that surfaced while investigators questioned his father’s alleged victims.

Avshalom Cohen allegedly coerced the victim into sexual abuse, and bribed him with nicotine vapes and energy drinks. The victim also feared repercussions if he refused the advances due to the threats inside the home, he told investigators.

In a separate incident, Avshalom Cohen also violently beat one of his younger adopted brothers who had been arguing with their father. Avshalom, who was 20 at the time, intervened in the argument, shoved the smaller child to the ground, beat him into submission and insulted him, saying, “That is what you get, you little ass kid,” according to charging documents.

Investigators have also determined that father Hayim Cohen kept the children locked in their rooms at almost all times before his arrest, except for the two eldest. The younger children were only allowed out of their rooms once or twice a day to use the bathroom and to eat a single meal. On social media, Hayim Cohen said the children were home-schooled.

After Hayim Cohen’s arrest, his six adopted sons who were still minors were transferred to Child Protective Services. The elder three sons, including Avshalom Cohen, were already adults.

Avshalom Cohen was also arrested earlier this year for human smuggling in a town in Texas next to the border with Mexico. He was found driving a van transporting eight undocumented migrants, and in possession of a firearm and fake police badge, local media reported.

CBP officers arrest woman attempting to smuggle three children at Juarez-Lincoln Bridge

LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations officers at Juarez-Lincoln Bridge uncovered an alleged child smuggling attempt involving three minors and arrested a woman in connection with the failed smuggling attempt.

“Our CBP officers shut down this would-be child smuggling attempt using their inspection skills and experience,” said Port Director Albert Flores, Laredo Port of Entry. “CBP remains committed to upholding our immigration laws and this apprehension perfectly illustrates that commitment.”

On July 31, 2023, CBP officers assigned to Juarez-Lincoln Bridge encountered a 54-year-old female U.S. citizen traveling in a 2014 Ford Taurus who presented U.S. birth certificates for three minor children and referred them for a secondary inspection. During the examination, CBP officers discovered that the birth certificates, while legitimate, did not belong to the children. Further, the minors, a 12-year-old boy and two girls, ages 10 and 4, were Mexican citizens and did not possess valid entry documents.

Police arrest more than 30 registered child sex offenders across SA for compliance breaches

A statewide South Australian police operation has led to the arrests of more than 30 child sex offenders for breaching legal obligations, with five of the accused allegedly found in possession of child exploitation material.

On Monday, police went to the homes of 144 child sex offenders listed on the Australian National Child Offender Register (ANCOR) across metropolitan SA.

Prior to that, officers also visited 65 addresses in regional areas between June and July.

Police searched for any evidence of non-compliance with the Child Sex Offenders Registration Act, which bans paedophiles from possessing internet user accounts or having contact with children without disclosure.

"If police found any evidence of non-compliance with their strict conditions the offender will face criminal charges for breaching their ANCOR legal obligations," Assistant Commissioner John Venditto said.

"The searches from both the metropolitan and regional areas resulted in 209 houses being searched with 36 offenders being charged with breaching ANCOR related obligations."

SA Police said five "serious registrable offenders" were allegedly in possession of child exploitation material, and a further three offenders had contact with children and had not notified police.

Police also seized a number of items including computers, mobile phones and USB sticks.

"Police will continue examining a number of items seized which may result in further charges being laid," Mr Venditto said.

"Police check on all registered child sex offenders as a matter of routine.

"The public should be reassured that police will take every opportunity to police child sex offenders and ensure they comply with their legal obligations."
