If you want to try planefagging to follow this 7500 Hijack squawk, the app is

adsbexchange.com

then click Global Radar View

then click (in the upper left) Menu

then click Filters

then select MIL (military) filter

then make sure filters are ENABLED

then dismiss the menu.

Then navigate to the place you want to view and zoom in or out with + or -

If you don't set your filters in a hurry your browser may crash so it may be best to open it in a separate browser.

ADSB can take a lot of CPU and memory resources if the filters are set wrong or zoomed out too much.

Good luck cadets!

If the plane is still in the list on the left, then it is somewhere within the geographical area your map shows, even if it disappears from the map.

It is NORMAL for a/c to disappear or reappear from the map and not in itself any cause for alarm.

Another hint that will help get a handle on what planes are doing.

Copy the plane type data, in this case "Douglas KC-10A Extender", and paste it into your search engine, to learn what kind of plane this is and what its usual function is.

Not for every plane but gradually get more familiar with the different aircraft and their missions.
