Great Britain ended up paying us the present day equivalent of $378 million dollars in compensation.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the municipal incorporation of Washington D.C. Those two things are completely unrelated.
I love Lara Logan, but this is also the same person who wondered where they get adrenochrome for research papers and didn't bother to do 5 seconds of google searching to see that you can buy adrenochrome from any major lab chemical supplier.
