God has destined us for acquiring salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

our origin and guide,

and hear the prayer of all who praise you.

Lord,
may our evening prayer rise up to you,
and your blessing come down upon us.
May your help and salvation be ours,

Heavenly Father, i thank you for loving us.
I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
to the world to save us and set us free.
I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore us.
Loving Father, touch us now with your healing hands,
for i believe that your will is for us to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.
Cover us with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ
from the top of the head to the soles of our feet.
Cast anything that should not be in is.
Root out any unhealthy or abnormal cell,
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus' precious blood.
Let the fire of your healing love pass through all our bodies,
to heal and make new any diseased areas so that our bodies will function the way you created it to function.
Touch also our mind and our emotions, even the depths of our hearts.
Saturate our entire being with your presence, love, joy
and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of our lives.
And Father, fill us your the Holy Spirit and empower us to do your works so that our lives will bring glory and honnor to your name.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

send us the Promised of the Father,
the Spirit of Truth.
May the Counselor Who proceeds from You,
enlighten us and infuse all truth in us,
as You have promised.

Divine Comforter,
comfort me in all my sorrows.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
You wanted all who are weary
to come to You for support.
Lord, I am worn out
by my inability to find wage earning work.
Day after day, my worry and fear grows,
as the rejections of my applications mount.
I am able and willing to work–
but i cannot find a worthwile job.
Please help me to obtain one soon,
so i can support myself and my family,
in a decent way.
However if it is Your Will to wait longer,
enable me to worry less,
and to able to take advantage of the time available,
to get closer to You.
Let me realize there are other ways
to bring about your Kingdom on earth
besides salaried work.
Help me to make use of the time being
so that i may continue to grow as a person
for Your greater glory
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Lord Jesus Christ,
for some reason many Christians seem to lack a sense of humor.
They have become so bogged down in the gravity of things,
tat they are perpetually tense and serious-minded.
I ask today that we all may cultivate a sense if humor,
and use it to help others as well as all of us.
Let us realize that humor is also a creation of Yours,
and that a smile is one of the greatest blessings of life.
Teach us to stress the positive side of life
and devlope a fime sense of humor.
We ask this through Christ our Lord

Heavenly Father,
look graciously on these daughters
who have become mothers out of wedlock.
Grant them and their child Your strength,
that they may grow in stature, age, and grace.
Inspire others to extend kindness and understanding,
to them in their troubled lives,
so that they can live relatively peacefully.
Send them a good man who will be,
a loving husband and father.
Teach me to put away all recriminations and condemnations,
and be of help and encouragement to them.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
