Joe Cooper
Joe has extensive experience in creating and implementing phone, digital and mail plans. He helped build many of the direct voter contact technology that are commonplace in the industry. After running numerous campaigns, ranging from initiatives to statewide Gubernatorial races, Joe served as the Northeast Desk at the DCCC for two cycles.
Joe later focused his attention on developing direct voter contact and canvassing technology, creating the industry’s first virtual dialer and becoming the Project Manager for NGP VAN who was tasked with embedding the direct-contact tools (social media, telephony, text) within the Democrat’s Voterfile so all progressive campaigns could take advantage of them. Since then, as principal of Tightline Strategies, Joe ran numerous IE campaigns for the DGA and the American Federation of Teachers and developed national direct-contact campaigns for DSCC and statewide campaigns for progressive interest groups including USW, LCV, AFT, and the DNC.
