EXCLUSIVE: Melania Trump runs errands in New York while Donald hosts LIV golf stars at Bedminster

The former first lady was out and about in Manhattan Wednesday

Her husband golfed as he prepares to host Saudi-backed tournament

Trump's lawyers entered another 'not guilty' plea on his behalf in federal court Thursday in the classified documents case

She's not guilty … of skimping on fashion.

Former first lady Melania Trump was spotted running errands in New York, as her husband prepares to host the Saudi-backed LIV golf tournament and insisted she is '100 percent' behind him as his legal woes pile up. Melania wore a pair of white sunglasses as she strolled the Upper East Side after traveling in a six-car convoy. It was the boldest part of an ensemble that included a $6,400 Chanel shiny lambskin handbag. She wore Manolo Blahnik pumps that retail for $745. The former model, 53, visited a pair of business addresses, including one where a high-end salon is located, wearing her hair down over a dark denim jacket and a white top. On Wednesday night, in an interview conducted at Bedminster, Trump told Newsmax his wife Melania backs him '100 percent.' 'She really is, she said the other day it is just so sad what is happening to our country,' the former president said. 'She said it so poignantly, and sad - but she expressed it.' Her stroll came Wednesday, as her husband hit the driving range at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club, which is hosting the LIV tournament this week.

Trump was spotted golfing and chatting with the athletes as his lawyers continue their multi-state defense of the former president in cases related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents and efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Trump's lawyers entered another 'not guilty' plea on his behalf in federal court Thursday. The Bedminster Club is hosting the latest LIV tournament August 11-13, just weeks after LIV and the PGA tour announced talks for a merger that stunned the sporting world. Bedminster is also where, according to the indictment, Trump allegedly flashed a classified war plan while conducting an interview for his former chief of staff Mark Meadows' autobiography. Trump was seen chatting with golf pros including American Patrick Reed Thursday. The former president was working on his swing Wednesday, when he was pictured with golfer Bryson LeChambeau, one of many top players who signed on with LIV, which is backed by Saudi Arabia's Sovereign Investment fund. Trump appeared relaxed on the course, but he has plenty to fret about, as his legal fees and indictments pile up. His lawyers entered a new not guilty plea on his behalf today following new charges against him in the classified documents probe. They were revealed in a stunning new superseding indictment filed by prosecutors in the case at the end of last month. Trump wasn't required to be present for the hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Shaniek Mills Maynard. His lawyer Todd Blanche entered his plea – before he must jet to Washington for yet another hearing in a Trump case. Prosecutors filed a new indictment in July in the classified documents case accusing Trump and aides of a conspiracy to delete surveillance footage even after a grand jury subpoenaed the footage. His lawyers are due back in federal court in Washington, D.C. Friday morning to face off with prosecutors over a protective order. U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan will decide what restrictions to place on Trump over what he can reveal about evidence his lawyers see in the case. Special Counsel Jack Smith's team cited some of Trump's recent online posts in their own filing seeking a protective order that Trump's lawyers say is too restrictive. A fourth potential indictment awaits in Fulton County, Georgia, where police have installed barricades in preparation for possible action this month.
