Maui Officials seem a bit defensive in the press conference:

"I'm going to remind everybody that it's a very devastating time for Maui. Please be gentle with your lines of questions."

They then announced that most future press conferences will be over the radio, not on video; reporter asked, "So there will be no questions allowed?"

Official replied, "the public is asking us to provide as much updates and information as possible."
