Transgender ‘Man’ Who Molested Autistic Children at Therapy Center Found Dead in Jail Cell

A transgender “man” who confessed to molesting autistic children at a therapy center where they were employed has been found dead in their jail cell.

At least one of the victims was still in diapers.

The deceased predator, Leomeir Kennedy, 31, was identified in court documents as a “transgender man” — meaning they were likely born female. Neutral pronouns are being used in this report because the biological sex is unclear.

In April, Kennedy confessed to molesting three children under their care, two of which were patients at the Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center in Greenwood, Indiana, after their phone and laptop were given to police by a colleague.

“A probable cause affidavit stated Kennedy admitted to molesting a child while babysitting in October of 2017. He claimed it happened once while changing the child’s diaper,” Fox 59 reported earlier this year.

Kennedy told police that they chose to work at the center because it was a “victim pool.”

The mother of one of the victims, a nonverbal child, told the station that she began noticing changes in their behavior in January.

“More temper tantrums, more aggression, and self-injuries,” the mother, identified only as “Jane,” said. “A lot more.”

“They can’t talk to us. They depend on them and us. For someone who we have to trust and they have to trust to do something like this is sickening. It’s terrible.”

Fox 59 reported, “Investigators said Kennedy admitted to molesting one child during a diaper change and another child while tickling them. Court documents show Kennedy said one of the children had ‘lust’ in their eyes and described it as feeling like ‘Christmas’ when he touched the child.”

“A search of Kennedy’s electronics reportedly found a search on DuckDuckGo of a ’13-year-old gang raped’ and two sexual images of very young children he received from someone on the Whispr app,” the report added.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Kennedy was unresponsive in their cell at approximately 9:32 a.m. on Friday.

Prison staff attempted to revive the predator using CPR, but Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Johnson County Coroner’s Office has said that there is no indication of foul play, meaning it was likely a suicide.

The predator was supposed to go to trial at the end of July, but it was moved to September.

Newly released NIH documents show conclusively that statements made during congressional hearings to U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Rep. John Moolenaar (R-MI) by NIH leaders Anthony Fauci and Lawrence Tabak were misleading, if not outright false, regarding third-party royalties paid before, during, and after the pandemic.

Tabak, acting director of the National Institutes of Health, and Fauci, then-director of the National Institutes of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, both claimed before Congress that they could not release the names of the companies paying NIH third party royalties.

Last week, however, our OpenTheBooks lawsuit based on our Freedom of Information Act request caused NIH to release new documents.

The newly released documents reveal – for the first time – the names of companies that paid NIH scientists $325 million in third party royalties from 56,000 transactions between September 2009 and October 2020.

Here are some key findings from the new disclosures:

In U.S. Senate hearings during 2022, Dr. Anthony Fauci refused to disclose the companies who licensed his “inventions” and paid his third-party royalties. Finally, now, we know the companies paying him. They are listed below.

Chinese government-owned pharmaceutical companies, controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), paid the National Institutes of Health (NIH) third-party royalties to license technologies developed on the U.S. taxpayer dime. One such company neighbors the Wuhan Institute of Virology, collaborates with the lab, and even paid a royalty to Douglas Lowy, a multiple term acting director at the National Cancer Institute, a sub-institute of NIH.

Russian animal vaccine maker – which was allegedly a front for a Soviet bio-weapons lab – licensed inventions and paid royalties to NIH for tech developed with taxpayer dollars.

Purdue Pharma – the makers of the highly addictive and frequently abused OxyContin (oxycodone) – licensed tech developed with public funds and paid royalties to NIH – even after the company pleaded guilty to federal crimes relating to opioids.

Long-serving former NIH director, Francis Collins, received third party royalties on his inventions from four companies that themselves received nearly $50 million in federal contracts and grants since 2008.

Crimean Bridge Targeted By Pair Of Missiles In Rare Daytime Attack

Ukraine has launched another attack on the vital Crimean bridge which links Russia to the Crimean peninsula, according to Moscow officials.

The defense ministry and Crimean officials say a pair of S-200 missiles had been inbound but Russian anti-air defenses engaged and shot them down. Unconfirmed video footage shows large plumes of smoke rising near or on the Crimean bridge, also known as the Kerch bridge, as of Saturday afternoon.

This would mark the third Ukrainian operation targeting the bridge in just the last few months. Traffic has been temporarily halted in this newest instance, but authorities say it is quickly resuming.

Governor of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said on Telegram that the bridge was not damaged. "Two enemy missiles were shot down by the air defense system in the area of the Kerch Strait. The Crimean bridge was not affected," he wrote.

And Reuters noted additional drone attacks deeper inside Crimea, writing "Ukrainian forces targeted the Crimean Bridge and a number of other unspecified targets on the Crimean peninsula on Saturday in a flurry of rocket and drone attacks, but there were no casualties or damage," based on Russian military statements.

S-200 missiles, while typically surface-to-air weapons, can be outfitted for ground attack use, as was apparently the case with these particular Ukrainian missiles. Kiev has yet to acknowledge or take responsibility for the attack.

The Russian foreign ministry issued a statement in the wake of this newest incident, vowing that "such barbaric actions… will not go unanswered".

Another major Saturday development was the crash of a Russian Su-30 fighter jet in the Russia's Kaliningrad exclave. It was said to be on a training flight, and the two pilots on board were killed.

"The Su-30 aircraft crashed in a deserted area. The flight was being carried out without ammunition. The crew of the aircraft died," the ministry said as cited in RIA news agency. The statement cited a likely technical malfunction.

As for this latest Kerch bridge attack, Kiev appears intent on putting it out of commission - likely with NATO backing - in order to slow or disrupt the Russian logistical supply chain to military units in Ukraine's south, as the bridge remains the most vital link.

Barack Obama told ex, ‘I make love to men daily, but in the imagination,’ letter shows

Former President Barack Obama wrote of his own “androgynous” mind and “mak[ing] love to men daily, but in the imagination,” according to the redacted portion of a now-notorious 1982 letter, obtained by The Post.

The more than 40-year-old letter to an ex-girlfriend recently resurfaced after Obama biographer David Garrow gave a long and winding interview on the one-time commander-in-chief.

“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life. You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination,” Obama, then 21, wrote to Alex McNear in November 1982.

“My mind is androgynous to a great extent and I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men. But, in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency,” he added.

McNear, who dated Obama during his year at Occidental College in Los Angeles, later redacted the salacious paragraphs, which the Pulitzer- Prize-winning historian Garrow hunted down and included in his tome, “Rising Star.”

The letter is currently owned by Emory University, which doesn’t permit it to be photographed or removed. Instead, Garrow’s friend Harvey Klehr transcribed the paragraphs by hand and sent them to the author.

Klehr provided the redacted portion of the letter to The Post.

Obama, a father of two, has been married to his wife Michelle since 1992.

Garrow said there was nothing unusual about Obama’s youthful musings.

“I’m a historian, not a psychologist, but I think it’s ‘public record’ news that a (vast?) majority of human beings have sexual fantasies!” he said via email.

A rep for the former president did not respond to a request for comment.

Taiwan Vice President Leaves on Sensitive Trip to United States

TAOYUAN, Taiwan—Taiwan Vice President William Lai left on Saturday for a sensitive trip to the United States, which China has condemned and Taiwanese officials fear could prompt more Chinese military activity around the democratically governed island.

Mr. Lai, the front-runner to become Taiwan’s president in elections in January, is officially making only transit stops in the United States on his way to and from Paraguay for the swearing in of its president.

Taipei and Washington say such stopovers are routine and no cause for China to take “provocative” actions, but Beijing has reacted with anger at what it sees as a further sign of U.S. support for Taiwan, which it claims as sovereign Chinese territory.

Mr. Lai, speaking to reporters at Taiwan’s main international airport at Taoyuan, made only fleeting mention of the U.S. part of his trip, simply noting he was going to New York first.

He said he would use the Paraguay visit not only to deepen ties with that country but also to have “self-confident” exchanges with other countries and meet with delegations from like-minded partners. He did not say who.

This will “let the international community understand that Taiwan is a country that adheres to democracy, freedom and human rights, and actively participates in international affairs,” Mr. Lai added.

It will also let the world know about “our various efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific,” he said.

Mr. Lai went to Honduras last year for the inauguration of its president and had a brief though symbolic chat while there with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. The United States has not announced who may be going to Paraguay next week.

Beijing particularly dislikes Mr. Lai, who has in the past described himself as a “practical worker for Taiwan independence.” Mr. Lai has, however, repeatedly said during the election campaign he does not seek to change the status quo.

Before leaving, Mr. Lai wrote in English on social media platform X, formerly called Twitter, he was “excited to meet with US friends in transit” and to be going to Paraguay, one of just 13 countries to maintain formal ties with Taipei.

Laura Rosenberger, chair of the Virginia-based American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), a U.S. government-run non-profit that carries out unofficial relations with Taiwan, responded on X that AIT was looking forward to welcoming him “during his transit en route to Paraguay.”

Mr. Lai is to return from Paraguay via San Francisco and is due back in Taiwan on Friday, according to the official schedule for the trip published on Saturday, which does not mention the U.S. legs.

The Paraguay part of the trip is also important given China’s increasing efforts to take Taiwan’s remaining allies.

Honduras, once a stalwart Taiwanese partner, switched relations to China in March.

French State Broadcaster Fires Second Journalist for Antisemitic Tweets

Revelations about the social media usage of journalists from French state media outlet France 24 has seen a second figure pushed out for his antisemitic tweets.

France 24 fired their Beirut correspondent Joelle Maroun in March after revelations of extremist social media posts by The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), and now a second journalist Dina Abi-Saab has also been fired.

CAMERA say after their exposé revealing posts by France24 journalists expressing “support for terrorism and antisemitism in their Arabic social media accounts”, three members of staff — Laila Odeh, Sharif Bibi, and Dina Abi-Saab — were required to sign an ethics charter.

The document contains a promise to reject “any incitement to crime, violence, hatred, racism, anti-Semitism, misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia”, the campaign group stated.

It is reported Odeh and Bibi signed, but Abi-Saab refused, leading to her ouster at the state media firm. Israel’s i24 reports Abi-Saab is a Lebanese heritage journalist who was France 24’s Geneva correspondent and who reportedly blamed Jewish people for the Israeli-Palistinean conflict and praised a terrorist online.

Much of the content highlighted by CAMERA showed a certain preoccupation among the four with Adolf Hitler, with one writing that she wished Hitler was born Lebanese. As noted by the Jerusalem Post, the French government was called out for using taxpayers’ money to fund the salaries of the journalists.

Following the dismissal of the journalists, CAMERA executive director Andrea Levin said: “What we see is that these France 24 Arabic journalists hold intensely passionate antisemitic attitudes and extremist political views that appear deeply rooted.

“Contrary to what France 24’s leadership may think, Odeh’s support for antisemitism and terrorism isn’t normal political ‘activism’ and is unlikely to be dispelled in conventional warnings that she adhere to professional ethical standards.”

“France 24 evidently knows there’s a serious problem to be addressed,” Levin added. “That’s important. Hopefully, the network’s leadership realizes the full implications – that activist antisemites on their Arabic staff will undermine the integrity of the entire enterprise – as antisemitism so often does when it’s not vigorously renounced and removed.”

Vietnamese activist sentenced to 8 years in jail for Facebook posts

A court in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City on Friday sentenced war veteran and democracy activist Tran Van Bang to eight years in prison and three years probation for Facebook posts that were deemed to be anti-state propaganda in a trial that lasted less than three hours.

Tran Van Bang, better known as Tran Bang, is a 62-year-old war veteran who fought during the 1979 Sino-Vietnamese War. He had regularly participated in demonstrations against China for its controversial claims over territories in the South China Sea.

He was arrested in March 2022 for what was initially determined to be 31 Facebook posts between March 2016 and August 2021.

After a subsequent investigation, authorities found that he wrote 39 problematic posts between three Facebook accounts that that were seen as “distorting, defaming and speaking badly of the people’s government; providing false information, causing confusion among the people; and expressing hate and discontent towards the authorities, Party, State, and country’s leaders,” the Tuoi Tre newspaper reported, citing the indictment.

The posts were in violation of article 117 of the penal code, a vague law that the government has often used to silence dissent.

It was the latest conviction in Hanoi’s ongoing campaign to silence bloggers and activists. Vietnam has convicted at least 60 such people under the same article and sentenced them between four and 15 years in prison, and 13 others to between four and 12 years under the older article 88, because it was the law when the alleged crime occurred, New York-based Human Rights Watch reported.

During Friday’s trial, Bang claimed that his Facebook accounts had been hacked and he hadn’t used them in a very long time.

But the Procuracy rejected the explanation, and used the posts on the accounts to convict him.

Tran Dinh Dung, Bang’s defense lawyer, told RFA’s Vietnamese Service following the trial that freedom of speech is guaranteed in Article 25 of Vietnam’s constitution, and Article 117 does not explain anti-state propaganda.

“The current law fails to clarify what freedom of speech is and what anti-state propaganda is,” said Dung. “In addition, there are some electronic documents and evidence missing, so I requested that the file of the case should be returned to the procuracy and a verdict should only be made when everything was clarified.”

Closed trial

Two diplomats, from the U.S. and France, were barred from attending the proceedings. They were made to wait in the courtyard until the trial’s conclusion.

Family members, meanwhile, were allowed only to watch the proceedings on a television screen from another room in the courthouse.

Bang’s brother, who declined to be named, told RFA that the audio of the broadcast was cut several times when the defense lawyer was speaking and was turned very low when Bang spoke in his own defense.

“The lawyer requested an additional investigation as some assessments of the investigator about the Facebook stories, which were the ground for accusations, were wrong,” Bang’s brother said.

“The lawyer also said that the accusation grounds were just the investigator’s viewpoint, and with another viewpoint, other people may find my brother innocent.”

“When I started Def Jam,” Rubin told the New York Times Magazine in 2007, “I was the only white guy in the hip-hop world.”

He certainly was not, but he was one of the only white Jews making rap records until Michael “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “MCA” Yauch, and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz — better known as the Beastie Boys — burst onto the scene. Rubin produced and released the group’s 1986 debut album, “Licensed to Ill,” which became the first rap album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“If you want to talk about a singular Jewish contribution to hip-hop, it’d be Rick,” said Dan Charnas, a journalist and arts professor at Rubin’s alma mater, in an interview. “Instead of hip-hop being rapping over disco instrumentals, he conceived of it as sonic collage art.”

Fifty years ago, on August 11, 1973, hip-hop was born (or so the origin story goes) when Jamaican Americans Cindy Campbell and her brother, a DJ who went by Kool Herc, hosted a back-to-school dance party in the recreation room of their Bronx apartment building. In its early years, rap was dismissed as street music by most music industry gatekeepers. It would take six years after that Bronx party for a rap record to get airplay on pop radio (Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight”).

Fast forward to 2023, and hip-hop is ubiquitous — not just on Spotify and TikTok, but across pop culture, from television to fashion.

DOJ eyeing Americans ‘like ATMs,’ spending over $6 billion to aid civil asset forfeitures, watchdog says

Federal government spends billions to identify and seize assets through forfeiture, records show

The Department of Justice is shelling out more than $6 billion to private companies to manage its asset forfeiture investigations, raising alarm from one nonprofit law firm that accuses police of "treating ordinary Americans like ATMs" and seizing their cash.

"You've probably heard the adage, 'You've gotta spend money to make money.' Here, it's 'You've gotta spend money to take money,'" said Dan Alban, head of the Institute for Justice's National Initiative to End Forfeiture.

Asset forfeiture is the process through which the government seizes money or other property that is believed to be linked to a crime. Most federal forfeitures are civil, meaning the government can keep the seized property without ever charging the owner with a crime.

The DOJ announced earlier this year more than $6 billion in contracts awarded to multiple private companies to help with asset forfeiture investigations. Contractors are expected to help with everything from investigating and identifying assets for seizure to record keeping and providing courtroom testimony, according to DOJ records.

"These are six billion reasons we need civil forfeiture reform now," Alban said. "Congress must act to prevent law enforcement from treating ordinary Americans like ATMs."

Forfeiture generated more than $45.7 billion in revenue for the federal government alone between 2000 and 2019, according to IJ. Proceeds are often split between federal and local police agencies

"Federal forfeiture is a big business," Alban said. "And it's a particularly big business for the law enforcement agencies that get to spend the money out of these funds."

Niger Blasts NATO’s Global Narrative Wide Open

Niger’s coup leaders believe they must first rid the region of the French and American military and then boot out their fifth columnists in the military, the media and the NGOs.

Niger’s recent coup follows similar coups in nearby Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea, each of which was led by military leaders opposed to the presence of French and U.S. occupation troops stationed there to ensure NATO’s continued economic rape of their respective homelands.

The Sahel, the region of Africa housing these four (and other coup-prone) countries, has been assailed with a number of economic factors, which have combined to give us this current stand-off between those military leaders on the one hand and the NATO war machine and its regional auxiliaries on the other.

These factors include Africa’s ballooning population, which has put increased pressure on the relatively small part of Africa’s abundant resources, which the locals are allowed subsist from; ever increasing droughts, which have increased tribal tensions over grazing lands; NATO’s increasing recourse to their ISIS card to justify both their military presence and their economic pillage of the region; and, finally, the mass migration towards Europe and concomitant crimes which NATO’s destruction of the entire region has caused.

Although Western economists and their regional apologists have proposed all sorts of self-serving solutions to these inter-twined problems, Niger’s coup leaders believe they must first rid the region of the French and American military and then boot out their fifth columnists in the military, the media and the NGOs.

Most fair-minded people would say that the coup leaders have a good argument, and one that is boosted by the widespread public support they enjoy and the deplorable track record of the French and American vultures who hover over them.

Their local opposition include such NATO stalwarts as Senegal’s political mafia, who rant that the loss of democracy in Niger is a casus belli, even as they jail their own opposition, ban their parties, and scrub them from the internet.

This “Coalition of the Willing” gang of collaborators in headed by Nigeria’s Bola Tinubu, who first made his millions laundering the profits of the CIA’s Chicago heroin dealers before returning to Lagos where he has been involved in almost every one of the never-ending major scams that plague that resource-rich country. When Niger’s leaders tell that bum to first clean up his own domestic mess, they have a point.

And it is one that the locals right across Africa see, along with the faux demands for human rights NATO’s proxies dutifully bleat when prodded by their masters to do so. Now that Uganda has discovered huge gold reserves, long time MI6 asset Peter Tatchell is bleating away about the hard life minor attracted persons have in Uganda. Nothing, of course, about the ordinary hard working Ugandan or Rwandan, who is under the boot of MI6’s Paul Kagame, a bosom buddy of Tony Blair and a major sponsor of, of all things, Arsenal Football Club.

Wherever we or, more importantly, Africans look, we see the same hoary hands all over that vast land mass and, in the Sahel, those hands are primarily those of France and the cut throats of the French Foreign Legion, whose duty it is to put all African upstarts to the sword.

And, make no mistake about it, if the French decide to go in hard, they will prevail. In previous spats in what they pompously see as their own African backyard, they wiped out the air force of the Ivory Coast in a matter of minutes. There is absolutely no way Niger and her allies, even with Algeria getting involved from the north, can prevail in a conventional war. NATO has been down this road many times before and they know how to engineer such catastrophes to their advantage.

But what NATO cannot handle is the emergence of two other key vectors in Africa. The first of these is Russia’s military and economic presence and the second and more important of them is emerging intra African patriotic networks.
