The one in the far left of the pic is the famous Banyan Tree of Lahaina Town. It's one tree with 47 trunks (It had maybe 20-30 last time anon was there over 20 years ago. The tree covers close to a square block and is not that tall. Banyan trees spread out rather than grow tall. The limbs grow horizontal and as they get too heave to support themselves they grow an offshoot which goes straight down and embeds into the earth where it forms roots and become another trunk.
