IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley schooled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Attorney General Merrick Garland’s decision to appoint US Attorney David Weiss as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday announced that US Attorney for Delaware David Weiss was appointed Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation.

Weiss asked for special counsel status in the Hunter Biden case.

“This appointment confirms my commitment to provide Mr. Weiss all the resources he requests,” Garland said. “It also reaffirms that Mr. Weiss has the authority he needs to conduct a thorough investigation and to continue to take the steps he deems appropriate independently based only on the facts and the law.”

According to Justice Department regulations, “The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government.”

However, Merrick Garland played shell games and appointed US Attorney Dave Weiss by using a different DOJ regulation.

This is a massive cover-up operation.

Dave Weiss allowed the statute of limitations to run out on Hunter’s more serious charges as IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley previously pointed out.

Weiss sparred with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and absolutely destroyed her with FACTS about the DOJ’s efforts to intervene on Hunter Biden’s behalf.

Shapley pointed out that Merrick Garland’s decision to appoint Weiss as special counsel vindicated his claims under oath that the US Attorney was hamstrung and unable to bring charges against Hunter Biden.

Kaitlan Collins, unable to even defend the DOJ’s actions, repeated her same, tired talking points that Weiss is a ‘Trump appointee.’

Technically Trump appointed Weiss, however, both senators in Delaware had to approve of his appointment under ‘Blue Slip.’

Trump said he would have never appointed Weiss otherwise.

Gary Shapley set Kaitlan Collins straight.

“If [Weiss] had the charging authority, why does he need to be given special counsel authority?” Shapley asked Collins.

Kaitlan Collins tried to get Shapley in a ‘gotcha’ moment and asked him who told him Weiss couldn’t bring charges in other venues.

Shapley immediately said, “United States Attorney Weiss on October 7, 2022 told me that.”

Collins of course tried to bring up a letter Weiss wrote Jim Jordan wherein he claimed he had been granted “ultimate authority” over the Hunter Biden probe.

Shapley once again schooled Collins and pointed out Weiss admitted his “authority is geographically limited to Delaware.”

Beef Company CEO: “I’ll Shut Down the Company Before We Ship a Single Bag With mRNA-Injected Meat”

Quickly but quietly, Big Pharma and various state governments are working to inject beef and dairy cattle with mRNA “vaccines.” The practice has been happening with pork since 2018 and beef is next on the agenda.

We’re relatively small now but we want to have a surplus of tens of thousands of bags of beef by 2024.”

The pushes for both transparency and to halt the push for mRNA-jabbed beef have hit roadblocks recently. In Missouri, a bill that would have forced labeling of beef injected with mRNA vaccines was stalled in committee. According to Todd Neeley at DTN:

A bill at the center of a vaccine controversy in the state of Missouri was voted down in a committee of the state’s house of representatives this week. The Missouri House Committee on Emerging Issues voted 10-4 against HB1169 on Wednesday, effectively ending the bill’s chance for passage in the current session.

Among many other stipulations, the bill would have required all beef derived from Missouri cattle to include labels detailing vaccines cattle received throughout their life. HB1169 also would have applied to commodities produced using GMO corn and soybeans.

Unfortunately, cattle and rancher associations across the nation have ignored concerns from both consumers and producers. Currently, most state rancher associations are either silent on the issue or in favor of advancing Big Pharma’s agenda.

“Our goal at Whole Cows is to give the people healthy, natural, delicious proteins they can eat today or store for decades,” Nelson continued. “We can’t fulfill that promise if the beef has been tainted, so we’re taking every step necessary to keep the jabs away from our cattle.”

Biden admin seeking billions more for housing migrant families

This request comes amid more bad news at the border for the Biden administration.

The Biden administration is seeking congressional approval, and funding, for a temporary housing program for migrant families that illegally cross the southern border. It is a plan that is intended to give them more freedom than traditional detention, according to Axios.

The administration is asking for the funds as part of a $40 billion emergency funding request to Congress. The request includes nearly $2.7 billion for the Department of Homeland Security's various border efforts.

This request comes amid more bad news at the border for the Biden administration.

Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) recorded more than 130,000 arrests along the southern border in July, compared with 99,545 in June, reported the Daily Mail citing a source close to the Border Patrol.

“The spike is greatest in southern Arizona in the region around Ajo. The Tucson sector recorded 40,000 arrests last month, making it the highest monthly total in 15 years. (The numbers were first reported by the Washington Post.)”

People can be seen standing in front of a giant fan at the Ajo Border Patrol station near Tucson, with images of people in cages in 110+ degree weather.

“Migrant advocacy groups condemned the practice of caging arrivals but officials said they were forced to use outdoor facilities as they struggle to manage the surge,” according to the outlet.

“It is bad news for the Biden administration. The pictures of people held inside wire fences provide a visual echo of families caged under the Trump administration.”

But now DHS wants the ability to use funds to set up new types of facilities to hold migrant families while they go through an expedited asylum and deportation process, according to Axios.

“Migrant family members would be able to come and go as they please during the day, but would be required to check in and stay the night on the campus,” a DHS official told Axios.

"We do not view this as family detention," the official said.

They claim the facilities would allow immigration agencies to more easily keep track of migrants throughout the asylum process, while easing the burden on local shelters near the border.

Darrell Issa Raises Concerns over Hunter-Linked Adviser on 2015 Ukraine Trip with Joe Biden

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), former chair of the House Oversight Committee, raised concerns over current President Joe Biden adviser Amos Hochstein, who was aboard a 2015 flight to Ukraine with then-Vice President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, the Oversight Committee retweeted a photo of Hochstein, then-Special Envoy, aboard Air Force Two on the way to Ukraine, briefing then-Vice President Joe Biden.

The committee said the photo was taken on the same trip where Joe Biden lobbied the Ukrainian government to fire top prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. The energy company paid Hunter Biden $83,000 a month for a board position to obtain the “Biden brand,” as Biden business associate Devon Archer described the arrangement.

“Current White House staffer Amos Hochstein was in communication with Hunter and Burisma while working for then-VP Joe Biden,” the committee posted on Twitter. “According to obtained emails, there were multiple conversations between Burisma, Hunter, and Hochstein while Hochstein was working as a federal government employee as well as multiple logged meetings with VP Biden including the day after Shokin was fired.”

The unearthed photo raised concern among Republicans.

“Amos Hochstein is years overdue in receiving fair scrutiny for his revolving door of service to Obama and Biden and catering to international business clients,” Issa told Breitbart News.

“We also need clarification of photos that show him briefing Joe Biden while on the way to Ukraine for Hunter to cash in,” he added. “Suggesting they were talking about the weather and grandchildren isn’t going to work.”

Hochstein was appointed as Joe Biden’s special coordinator for global infrastructure and energy security in 2021. In 2022, Biden appointed him as special presidential coordinator.

Hochstein’s involvement in the Biden family business is well documented. On April 16, 2015, Hochstein met with Joe Biden at the White House, the visitor logs show. That meeting occurred the same day Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden to Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi and other business associates during a dinner at Café Milano in Washington, DC.

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs Secretly Sought The Censorship Of Political Critics

Various new sites are now reporting that Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) is the latest politician who has sought blatant censorship of political critics by social media companies. Shortly before the 2020 election (when many of us were writing about the expanding censorship calls by Democratic politicians), Hobbs allegedly sought to silence her critics on Twitter. Many were criticizing 2017 posts in which she claimed former President Donald Trump had a “neo-nazi base.” Hobbs considered such criticism to be intolerable and demanded that these citizens be censored.

A conservative site reported that Hobbs said Trump had a “neo-nazi base” while she was serving as a Democrat state senator in 2017. Hobbs’ tweet echoed criticism that Trump praised Neo-Nazi rioters in Charlottesville. When Prime Minister Chris Hipkins on Tuesday revealed the Government had worked with BlackRock to create a new $2 billion fund for renewable energy, conspiracy theorists once again took to their keyboards.

BlackRock is the world’s largest investment and risk management firm with $10trillion of assets under its management. It was started in 1988 in New York, before ballooning to a franchise which spans the globe.

In 2012, it launched a climate infrastructure business which develops investment strategies to promote climate solutions.

Its chief executive and co-founder Larry Fink, a New York-based billionaire, is seen to be at the forefront of ethically-responsible investing and business practices, called ESGs.

This has made him a politically controversial figure, who is attacked by both the left and right.

PornHub and Other Explicit Websites Suing Texas Over Age-Verification Law

A lawsuit filed August 4 asks a federal court to block Texas Interim Attorney General Angela Colmenero from enforcing a new law that would require users of adult websites to send their government-issued identification to those websites.

The Free Speech Coalition (FSC), a trade association that represents “hundreds of businesses and individuals involved in the production, distribution, sale, and presentation of constitutionally-protected adult content,” filed the lawsuit alongside 16 companies and one anonymous adult performer.

“Many of FSC’s members are individual adult performers gravely concerned about the consequences of the Act, but who fear for their safety should they come forward publicly to challenge the Act in court,” FSC’s attorneys write in the lawsuit.

Some of the companies named in the lawsuit include the operators of adult entertainment websites Brazzers, Pornhub and XVideos.

Colmenero has not yet filed a response to the lawsuit. She did file for an extension to the court’s Monday response deadline, asking the court for an extra week to prepare.

That filing does not state any reason why the Texas Office of the Attorney General would require an extension.

“Least effective and most restrictive”

The new law, House Bill 1181, goes into effect September 1. When it does, it will require any commercial entity providing adult content to utilize what the law says are “reasonable age verification methods.”

The law does not apply to social media websites or search engines.

The websites will be required to ask their users to transmit one of the following:

digital identification;

government-issued identification; or,

public or private transactional data (mortgage, pay stub, etc.).

“Despite impinging on the rights of adults to access protected speech, [the law] fails strict scrutiny by employing the least effective and yet also the most restrictive means of accomplishing Texas’s stated purpose of allegedly protecting minors,” the lawsuit states.

Footage has emerged of a fan being kicked out of Brisbane Stadium for displaying the national flag of Iran during Australia’s quarterfinal win over France.

The Matildas are into the semi-finals of the World Cup for the first time after defeating France 7-6 on penalties in a thrilling shootout.

A capacity crowd was at fever pitch in Brisbane, going ballistic when Sam Kerr came on in the second half before the roof went off when Cortnee Vine slotted the matchwinning penalty.
