Those tiny powers that cower are going to do everything they can to blame it on someone else while they try to find a foolproof way to survive their own unintended consequences. They think, in their hubris, they have found one already.

I just stopped by to do a kindness to the tiny powers that cower by reminding them that, despite all the threats, if the internet and all the wireless stops, even for an hour, so do all the spells being cast by lying media and every other sad actor.

24 hours and all your fake magic is dead and gone. And reality sets in.

Geez, it'd be a damn shame if the sun decided to puke all over the whole planet.

Boy, it'd be a real shame to discover the secret to immortality right after you left the surface of the planet to retire to your executive bunker where you planned to wait out the unintended consequences of your actions.
