Texas authorities have identified the suspect that they believe tried to kidnap a woman at a Target in Magnolia last week.
Magnolia resident Jose Luis Contreras, 22, was charged with attempted kidnapping.
He was arrested at a restaurant in Conroe on Saturday, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
The suspect was transported to Montgomery County Jail, where he was held with no bond pending a hearing.
According to KPRC, the 18-year-old victim was getting into her car when Contreras grabbed her and tried to move her into his vehicle.
She managed to escape, prompting the suspect to flee the scene in a gray car.
''Authorities said Contreras will wear an ankle monitor due to the seriousness of the charge.''
“In addition to arraignment, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office has requested Contreras have an ankle monitor if released on bond due to the seriousness of the allegations against him,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
Sheriff Rand Henderson thanked county authorities who helped identify Contreras, along with community members who assisted with the investigation.
“Today is a reminder that when we stand united, we can achieve remarkable things,” Henderson said in a statement. “Let this be a testament to the strength and resilience of our community.”
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident. ''There are no additional details at this time.''

> doubt as to possible reflections
Honestly, i thought about that too, but I don't think those are window reflections, b/c the camera appears stable (not panning) at the moment the flash appears (3-4 second mark) and is going in what I would think is the opposite direction a window reflection woudl be going given the apparent movement of the car.
the downside to this vid clip is the obvious shitty quality and i haven't seen anything else that might corroborate it….so like you say >Interdasting tho
If you come across anything tht might corroborate…please post.

#BREAKING – UK changes travel advisory for Sweden - increased terror threat - SVT
"Terrorists will likely try to carry out attacks in Sweden. Be alert in public environments," writes the British Foreign Office.
"Attacks can happen arbitrarily and in places where foreigners are. Swedish authorities have successfully stopped a number of planned attacks," the recommendations further state.

LONDON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Britain on Sunday warned citizens going to Sweden of possible terrorist attacks ''following Koran burnings by anti-Islam activists that have outraged Muslims.''
In updated travel advice, Britain's foreign ministry said Swedish authorities had successfully disrupted some planned attacks and made arrests.
"You should be vigilant at this time," it said, adding that "terrorists are very likely to try and carry out attacks in Sweden" with places visited by foreigners potential targets.

In a statement acknowledging Britain's changed travel advice, Sweden's National Security Advisor Henrik Landerholm reiterated the increased threats to Sweden since the burnings.
Landerholm said the storming of Sweden's embassy in Iraq on July 19, an attempted attack on its embassy in Lebanon on Aug. 9, and also the Aug. 1 shooting of an employee at a Swedish consulate in Turkey contributed to the risk assessment.
''Koran burnings are permitted in Sweden under free speech rules, but Muslims see burning of their holy book as blasphemy.''
The U.S. government has also warned of possible terrorist attacks in Sweden in its travel advice.
