Isn't there an upcoming test of the emergency alert system in a few weeks?
Interdasting that this Maui fire happened before that test especially since residents are saying no warnings or alerts went out.
Did the state completely abandoned the uber robust emergency alert systems built during and after WWII? That stuff was hardwired.
Were the alerts that went out for the "nuclear attack" a few years back all cell based?
