You can only confirm what you have proof of.
In the case of the money, what you confirm is all you have. If you can't confirm God's existence then you have no God and no knowledge of one. If you can get confirmation that God exists then you have proof and that proof is your knowledge, it is no longer of a question of needing confirmation any longer.
