- This is most effectively done by doing good works for people outside your current sphere of influence.
Long term when you do good things for others it gives you a chance to develop meaningful networks. Lets face it, nobody wants to put their life on the line for a self absorbed asshole when it really comes down to it.
Doing good works creates a bond with people who are willing to go the next step with you when SHTF.
Look for volunteer opportunities, brush your tooth and go get your booger pickers dirty doing some good shit for others.
This is where you develop both clout and a crowd.
From the crowd you are going to develop your crew.
This is the start of building support cells. It may take a while to do it.
