Schumer: Clean energy investments are so popular; we put three hundred, sixty-nine billion as the amount that we would put in for tax reductions to encourage wind and solar and clean energy. It's now over five hundred billion dollars, and it could go as high as a trillion dollars, because clean energy is economically, sound, and politically popular from one end of the country to the other.

Scott Strazik: In the last year, the Inflation Reduction Act has been trans formative, and I get to see it ever day as the CEO of IGE Vernova, an energy company focused, purpose-built, to electrify and decarbonze the world.
