This anon's first house had a fancy white aluminum roof. House was in the foothills north of San Bernardino city. Major wind storm lifted part of the roof off and bent it over. We listened to it go wanka-wanka all night. No roofing company in the area would even attempt repair. Replaced it with heavy composite shingles with 6 fasteners per (six-nailed). I drove past that house last week and shingles are still good after 20 years.
