You assume that Gowdy is focused on what Gowdy wants, then? Watch his Liberty University speech. He isn't focused on himself. He's focused on utilizing his unique gifts and talents (which also happen to coincide with an immense passion and knowledge) in law. That man loves the law more than any human I have ever witnessed. He was created to understand, respect, and shape laws. POTUS wants a judge for 40+ years, that's Gowdy. The uprising on the left to delay the nomination is because they FEAR him.
