These posts remind me of some humorous thoughts I've had over the years. A lot of companies seem to like the idea of automation and replacing people due to not having to deal with HR, illnesses, etc. However, when humans don't have jobs who will buy the products?
Robots used to make clothing or shoes won't need the items they "make".
Also, if the robots get sophisticated enough maybe they will create all the same havoc people used to. For example, they might organize to demand better quality oil. If people get demolished then who will use banking services? Will the robot buy a new chip on credit or have a savings account? Will the robots organize for more frequent upgrades?
