Ukraine Caucus?

 

Came across this https://www.zerohedge.com/political/top-ukraine-caucus-congressman-counteroffensive-ill-be-blunt-its-failed this morning.

This is the first I have heard of a Ukraine Caucus. Since a congressional caucus, as I understand it, is for the purpose of promoting the interests of a specific group it caused me to wonder why are US Representatives promoting the interests of a foreign country? Before you start yelling about Jews and Israel, yes I know there are groups that promote their interests. But that just makes my point. The job of a member of the House of Representatives is supposed to be to promote the interests of the citizens they represent, not foreign governments. So to my thinking any rep that is in one of these caucuses should be voted out. Naive I know, especially for someone like me who is from the peoples repube-lick of california.

 

It also makes me wonder if perhaps we have been provided with a list of the top beneficiaries of Ukrainian Corruption.
