I have an American friend who lives in Russia.

I sent him the article about the village that Russia is building for American ex-patriots.

We try to keep in communication, especially now.

This is what he wrote me back:

That American village is sponsored by an American and last week the federal government approved the plans for 200 houses - but - the Americans must be screened for really being conservative - no fakers and rabble rousers to generate trouble!

I've lived here in the Russian city of Ufa (2 time zones east of Moscow) for over 24 years and I have found that the civil and personal freedoms are so much better - even before the Patriot Act that limited all our freedoms.

Besides no GMO food, it is all organic - clean environment and air - a 1000 other things — PLUS the police do not carry guns!!!
