California teacher blasts school as “homophobic” for allegedly making her remove a progress pride flag from her classroom.

Her profile photo shows her wearing a shirt that says “educating is activism” in what appears to be a classroom.

A parent tells me they didn’t even make her remove it, just relocate it in her classroom! Having to move your pride flag to another area in your classroom is literal homophobia

This enrages me. Don’t talk to me about “trauma-informed care” & “belonging” when you fail at your primary job of teaching students to read. Schools inflict trauma every year when they send young adults out into the world functionally illiterate. Teach children to read!

I constantly reference the study that came out about the avg American adult reading on the 6th grade level. This gentleman has been showing the vulnerability of learning to read as an adult. He says he should know this but he should’ve been taught please send him encouragement
