FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell says emergency funds could be depleted within weeks

 

"Our estimates do still say that we may have a depletion of our fund — now it's pushed into the middle of September," Criswell said. "And as we get closer to that, I mean, this is a day-by-day monitoring of the situation."

Sun. Aug 30; Ground Based microwave WSR88D w/callsign KEYX located just East of Edwards AFB can be seen evaporating rainfall from Hilary over a wide area in Central & Southern California. So far, as of this posting, the rainfall total in the Foothills is 2.00". Based on the Doppler radar image and the concentrated area of rain over Southern CA, most of this moisture will be around for a few more hours but by Monday the system will have moved through and we should expect to see some clearing.
