He later sort of implied that he read the FISA before signing it and based on what he knew at the time, that it was appropriate.

 

My thought as I listened was to wonder if the warrant he signed was the same as what went to the FISA court.

 

I also am wondering if, when they confidently testify that they didn’t believe political bias impacted the ultimate decision, it is because the motive was actually different - ie, a conspiracy to cover up wrongdoing. That’s a completely different motive and they keep declining to produce documents and information regarding “investigations” that are ongoing.

Not so. As a litigatorfag, I have long admired his ability to interview/cross examine. That he opted to engage in more of a statement jumped out at me. It was definitely not his normal, typical mode. There are strategic reasons for what he did but I don’t know what those are. It was clearly deliberate.
