I find it ''very odd'' that Fani Willis was able to set a court date, before Trump has even been arraigned. Generally state cases would follow these steps.

  1. Charges are brought

  2. Defendant is arraigned.

3.The Courtchooses a date, according to it's schedule.

  1. When court date arrives, defendant can request a continuance, if their case is not ready. The prosecution's case is assumed to be ready since they are the ones who brought charges in the first place. The prosecution however, can request a continuance.

When a continuance is granted,The Courtsets a new court date.

The prosecutor setting a court date, and BEFORE the defendant is even arraigned is not normal. This is just morein your face''hey we're in charge here, and you can go fuck yourself'' from the DS.
